What’s the worst that can happen?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to throw caution to the wind and just do whatever you wanted to do? No risk/benefit analysis, just following an impulse and do what feels good. Maybe it could lead to a new experience or a new romance!
I’m cautious with most things and I certainly have not been accused of being impulsive about dating. Maybe it’s time to switch things up, though. What’s the worst that can happen if you let your impulses dictate what you do? Would that be a brilliant idea or a slightly insane thing to try?
Sigman Freud theorized that the human personality is driven by the Id, ego, and the superego. The Id is the “irrational” part of our personality. If this is true, then my Id is all dormant! Rarely do I get irrational about dating, but maybe it’s time I did.
What’s the most impulsive thing you have ever done? How did it turn out?
Do you think our overly cautiousness sometimes cuts us off from experiencing something (or someone) important that we should really experience?

then, there was the time I got into a traffic accident…here I am thinkin I’m about to get paid cause dude rear-ended me….after the police did their report, my ass went to jail…stayed there 34 days over some bull sh yt; I was in there chillin….I called Sexy…she and some other bloggers sent me cards…and one even came to visit….lawd yes….those were the days….

Powers Ferry is different now. They just built some million dollar condos on Powers Ferry, next to Ray’s on the River, and they they built some $1.2 mil cribs on Powers Ferry, near Terrell Mill Rd. There’s even a J. Christopher’s in the shopping center where the blockbuster was. And that Chevron on the corner of Powers Ferry and Delk Rd. closed down, and it’s a Texaco now.

then there was the time i went to the police to try to nudge them into doing more about a missing friend, and, getting insufficient cooperation, went to the hotel of the person with whom they were last known to be, sweet-talked my way past the manager and security, broke into his room, rifled thru his stuff for an address in another state, then went back to the police and sweetly said ‘X marks the spot”.

One of my girls bartended on weekends at this hole in wall close by. I can’t remember the street but we’d take Franklin Road, I want to say until it ended. Roswell Road maybe? A few doors down from the Big Chicken? Maybe not…somewhere in the area. Ahhh, the those were the days.

Man I moved to Atl in 90 and the 1st place i lived was Oaktree. That place was live as heyal and i definitely contributed to that. I lasted about 9 mos in that place before Mgmt gave me 2wks to leave and banned me from the property. Now franklin rd was actually getting tame by the late 90’s. You can imagine how it was back in 92-93.
Nikki’s VIP was like heaven on earth (know I’m going to hell for that). The GC downtown was just perfect for whatever. But pound for pound Jazzy T’s was IT. The dj booth was the Champagne Room fo show.

Now franklin rd was actually getting tame by the late 90’s. You can imagine how it was back in 92-93.
yeah Count On Being Busted (COBB) PD wasn’t having that. They started arresting everything moving.
Nikki’s VIP was like heaven on earth (know I’m going to hell for that).
Man Nikki’s was the first strip club I had ever been to when I moved to Atl. was a freshman with no car…took a cab to that joint with the homies. Juwan Howard and Kevin Duckworth were in that joint that night. It was off the chains.

I colored my hair once and it was freaking Red. A black woman with red hair in the 80’s made me feel slutty/hoochie! It just did. I didn’t walk/live the part but just UGGGHHH!!!

Web-based email gets blocked by companies because it’s an attack vector for viruses that they can’t proactively prevent. I don’t think they particularly care about specific types of Internet activity being counter-productive. Levels of productivity can be measured by productivity itself, rather than whatever with the Internet. That said, of course, TwitFace is a gigantic time waster.
