@ I am Yes girl I am loving that my man lives in Decatur. I hate driving but I’ve become more comfortable with driving since I do the back and forth to his house. I also try to drive him around since he drives a truck for a living…you know, being considerate and all that ish.
@ 2CPTG© If I didn’t have a bf I’d probably fly down there for the day. I did that one time I flew to SAT to meet someone….I do some crazy stuff but when I can fly for free why not? I mean I’ve never been to SAT before so another notch on my travel belt.
@ WD If I were you I wouldn’t date a blogger either. I can only imagine how disastrous. I’ve seen some disastrous results when I was a moderator at another forum….and CPIXEL if any of you know what that is….

Mornin my dear child (LOL).
@blue/czB ~ she’s 39 and he’s 38. She and the other co-worker laughing telling me he’s has a little money, but has no doubt he’s still paying for the ring. Truly, my heart panged watching her laugh and giggle that she has such a gorgeous ring. I remember just last year her saying she doesn’t ever want to marry again. Of course, we can all change our minds, but to change your mind over the ring itself is shallow, mean spirited and TACKY! Seems like so many has lost focus on the true meaning of “marriage,” and it ain’t the size of the freaking ring!

Morning Simple Man!
Okay, I have to admit this has somewhat happened to me. I used to moderate a greek message board and there was this guy who always made me laugh and seemed pretty smart.
So we started talking off line and he sent a pic. He was pretty cute and we ended up meeting when I came to visit my sister in Atlanta. He is one of the reasons I made the move here.

Leggs – That is heartbreaking. Because usually if a guy goes to the trouble of getting a ring, especially if he’s still paying on it, he’s serious. She obviously isn’t. But that’s who usually has no trouble attracting good men. They go for women like that all the time – wonder why.
Life can be so unfair sometimes!

Simple – About Greek guys – when I was in college they always appeared to be the most outgoing. They were always the campus leaders, best looking, fun, etc. Rarely was there a guy that had all that going for him that was not greek.
Of course, now that I’m out of school, they mean nothing to me. Maybe if I were not seeing someone and they had a convention in town or something.

Clearly because it’s a part of who they are. I’m 30+ and still active in my Sorority. Folks probably ask just to see if there is any affinity there. I see people who went to HBCUs ask the same things… there is a bond there.

@2C..Amazon is correct I am non-greek..but you can blame Spike Lee or the run in with the Greek guys I have met both in college and out..but I normally go with the belief that I am not much of a follower..and I found the whole Greek thing to be all about following. I am sure there will be those who are offended but I always felt like the whole Greek thing..white and black alike was almost cult like. I have my own mind and I am not one for blindly following any group without question.
