Why aren’t more women approaching men?
I hope your weekend was wonderful and fun! I was in the Big Easy hanging out and mingling with cool people. I saw a lot of interesting things this weekend while hanging out in New Orleans. I love the energy of the city and the people are so much fun.
I noticed that women seem to approach men a lot more than in Atlanta! I have to say there were a couple of guys that caught my eye and approaching them didn’t seem like a bad idea. What is it about going to a different city and meeting people that seems easier than at home?
When men get approached by women, it seems to be a huge ego boost and I believe it is rare when a guy flat out turns her down. I am sure it happens but once a lady gives an inkling that she is interested, she opens the door for the man to reciprocate interest.
What is the best way to approach a guy, though? I have seen some women come on way too strong and when they sense the guy is turned off, they keep pursuing. Are women slow to notice that a man isn’t really feeling her?
Guys when you are approached by a woman, do you know right away? What happens when you decide that she isn’t your type? How do you let her down?
I think women are always encouraged to ask guys out or at least approach men more, but it seems that many of us prefer to let the men make the first move. Do you think this will ever change? If we are modern women who abandon a lot of the traditional courting, should we get used to approaching men?

Melo, LOL everyone does not get the cuddle. If she does a job well done, I will cuddle with her. If I had a sweatfest she needs to go fix me something to eat and drink then lay her head on my thigh and just play with “me” and marvel at “it” as an act of apreciation for the joy I just gave her

not so new or we’re not getting along – cuddle, maybe, but keep it brief

I honestly dont sleep well unless I am cuddled up with my wife, she literally just lays completely on top of me and thats how we sleep. I hug the heck out of my pillow when she is not here

I don’t care it’s impossible to find the right nook on a man’s body to sleep on my stomach. And if at all he put in some good work, he should put me to sleep right away. If I get woke up on then that’s on me. If he lets me get a good nap, the coming rounds might last a lot longer for him. It’s all about give and take(snatch).
Ok let me get of this office so I can prepare for the game tonight. I’m so thankful for Monday Night Football.

@PR – i remember those days, sigh, lol…that was back when we slept so tied together that sharing a twin for a nite or two was fine…now im siding with my aunt who claims the king size bed she and my uncle bought saved their marriage: you can cuddle when you want, and on nights when his stubble/beard is just too ichy on the back of your neck you can roll away easy…lol

I think I heard somewhere that sex releases some sort of ‘bonding’ chemical, probably more so in females than males….hence the pillow talk afterwards basking in the euphoric state of bliss. But I could also just be making that up. lol

It’s nice to cuddle but not necessarily all night for me…bc eventually i’m going to roll over on my stomach and face whichever side of the bed i’m on. However, I do tend to tuck my hand closes to person i’m with, up under them or just have my hand on them period. I’m known to tuck my hands just inside the elastic of their boxer briefs if they are wearing any.

Hmmmmm….10 after six and everyone is gone…..Its about to rain like hell and I am still sitting in the office thinking about the days blog comments….Maybe it would be nice to have someone to go home to….A wife, a couple of children, maybe a dog…..But she has to be cute so my kids won’t be ugly..LOL and fine…..and can cook like me…..and is not afraid to put her hand in the waiste band of my boxer briefs…

my best friend and i were just having this conversation on Sunday night! He thinkd we ladies are missing out by NOT taking initiative and asking by; hence allowing the men to choose us. We’re going out with the men that approach us. I kind of agree with him. There are plenty of men I’ve seen that I would not mind getting to know at least his name, and I’d never know his potential if I didn’t at least introduce myself. If he’s not interested, then hey, keep it moving… they do it all the time. Why should we keep sleeping on ourselves!
