Freaky Friday: Whose fantasy is it?

Have you ever wondered if you were too “vanilla” or inexperienced compared to your date or significant other? Would it bother you if you found out that you were?

I ask because a friend of mine went on a first date with a new guy  recently.  He randomly mentioned his rendezvous with two women during the date.  Yes, you read that right.

I will pause here so you can react with disbelief like I did.

She became “visibly annoyed” and quickly changed the subject, unfortunately she had already heard too much.  Now she can’t seem to shake off the little details he managed to divulge.

Where do I even begin? First of all, why would you even mention your former hook-ups with someone you are interested in?  How tacky is that?  Secondly,  is that some kind of new   compatibility test some people use now?

Mr. Threesome  rambled on about how he was glad he got it out of his system.  Is this the sort of thing that single people want to do before they settle down?  Does sowing your wild oats mean you get to want to live out some fantasy that you have?

He also argued  “they don’t call it every man’s fantasy for nothin”.  I know, charming guy, right? Do you think this is true?

When you are in a relationship, do you think it matters if one person is more  “vanilla” than the other?

Mrs. PG has a freaky Bills jersey (she is from upstate NY)…that combines football and freaky freaky.

@DJ Sniper you over there bleeding the Black N Gold? Hmmm how you look in football pants..but I digress… Tomlin just announced on the site today that he was giving Dixon some time with the first team..he is working for that shot at the big time…and I bet he will get it too in one of our first four games. Tampa Bay would be a good one for him to cut his teeth on.

Being too vanilla can sometimes be a bad thing in my scene (http://www.examiner.com/underground-club-scene-in-atlanta/casey-morris), but I think even then that guy would have been out of line! No matter what you’re into, you shouldn’t talk about past sexual encounters on a first date.

Poppa, I agree with your assessment of our defense. We finally have the players that can run the type of defense the coaching staff wants. We have a deep rotation on the D-line, a nice young trio of LB’s, and a much improved secondary. You were so right about Chris “I Can’t Turn My Head To Look For The Ball” Houston. I was very happy when he got traded. I’m looking forward to seeing how Dunta Robinson matches up with teams’s #1 receivers. Also, remember that we have a new secondary coach, so that’s another change to watch out for.

DJ- Im more afraid of Dixon than Leftwich because he was a beast at Orgeon.. Until he hurt his knee he was gonna win the Heisman.. I honestly hopes he gets a chance to start somewhere..

Dunta hasn’t played yet in the preseason…

You had second and third stringers against Randy Moss last week. In a real game…Dunta would have been out there. Changing one guy made everyone else adjust. Plus I think that Van Gorder wanted them to play vanilla offense. 9 players did not dress out last week against the Patriots.

Kym, I’m not a Steelers fan, per se, but I do like and respect the organization. They have run a very classy squad for a number of years now. I was checking out Dixon when he was in college. Had he not torn his ACL late in his senior season, he probably would have been drafted a lot higher than he did. I figured he might have been on the Falcons radar, since we were definitely in the market for a QB, but that injury cut that short. I do hope he gets a chance to succeed in the NFL, regardless of what team he’s with

I’ve been doing P90X, so I may look fairly decent in football pants. I’m cornerback size, if that helps any. lol

‘Sex is best when your mind is more into than your body is because the mind will allow you to explore more dimensions.. When you have mind sex the boundaries are limitless and your guard goes down.. There is along with that a level of trust that you have for each other because you know the other person will never hurt you and is only there to please you.. ‘

Worth repeating ;-) (yea, yea, yea…i’m late…who cares)

DJ…John Parker Wilson will probably get the back up spot. He did not look bad last week. He seems to have command of the huddle, and the team listens to him.

On the other hand, I am really disappointed in Matt Leinhart. He looked horrible. Midnight has struck on them. Back to being cellar dwellers.

I like JPW as well. I think he’ll develop into a nice backup QB for us.

Leinart is looking more and more like a bust. He’s had 5 years to develop now. He did not look good at all against the Titans earlier this week. I did see that Derek Anderson will start in their next preseason game. That does not bode well for Leinart.

The Bucs are a major work in progress with a second year QB. The fight in the NFC South will be between the Saints and Falcons. The Vikes will make the playoffs as a wild card. I am giving Green Bay the division after what I saw last night. Sheesh!!

Poppa Grande

Colts and Falcons are indeed possible. I think that it is possible for the Falcons, but Green Bay finally has a good O-line which is what they didn’t have last year.

The Bucs also have to deal with an aging defense. They are trying to replenish it. Gerald McCoy will have it younger and better. He will fit in as the replacement of Warren Sapp that they’ve been looking for. However, Ronde Barber is on the backside of his career. Sooner or later, age will catch him.

Melo, the Colts and Falcons are in different conferences, so they could meet in the Super Bowl. And I am so with you on the “death to the Saints” comments. The Saints will suffer from Super Bowl hangover for a while this season.

Not to mention that the Glazers are in serious financial problems. They own Tampa and are trying to sell the team. However, in this economy, it might not be easy. Glazers also own a lot of Manchester United. They are denying it, but indications are that they are having problems like everyone else.

The Bucs should be better than last season, but they are definitely in the middle of a youth movement with Freeman, McCoy, Price, and a few others. It will take them another 2-3 years for them to grow together, but when they do, they should be ready.
