Freaky Friday: Whose fantasy is it?

Have you ever wondered if you were too “vanilla” or inexperienced compared to your date or significant other? Would it bother you if you found out that you were?

I ask because a friend of mine went on a first date with a new guy  recently.  He randomly mentioned his rendezvous with two women during the date.  Yes, you read that right.

I will pause here so you can react with disbelief like I did.

She became “visibly annoyed” and quickly changed the subject, unfortunately she had already heard too much.  Now she can’t seem to shake off the little details he managed to divulge.

Where do I even begin? First of all, why would you even mention your former hook-ups with someone you are interested in?  How tacky is that?  Secondly,  is that some kind of new   compatibility test some people use now?

Mr. Threesome  rambled on about how he was glad he got it out of his system.  Is this the sort of thing that single people want to do before they settle down?  Does sowing your wild oats mean you get to want to live out some fantasy that you have?

He also argued  “they don’t call it every man’s fantasy for nothin”.  I know, charming guy, right? Do you think this is true?

When you are in a relationship, do you think it matters if one person is more  “vanilla” than the other?

2CPTG, that could be possible also. She could have asked for more than she expected to get.

I was waiting for Melo to chime in. He never disappoints.

@Truth ~ since you came back and celebrated your b-day home, it’s a safe bet you painted the town every color of the rainbow.

Also, smoking jacket and ascot can be a visual stimulation (esp. if that’s all he’s wearing). But, must admit, nothing comes close to your toolbelt and boots!

Thanks for asking, lil leggs is great. She’ll be 16 on Sunday. Woo Hoo. She’s hoping to find a car in the garage. I’ve been telling her one will be there, my car!

@SimpleMan ~ you know you are hilarious!

Yeah, lurker… it goes both ways. If the shoe fits. Excessive focus on sex is almost a comical caricature of a man, and frankly, most men can’t back it up. They lie about it. Kind of funny.

Not like me, of course, what with me being all that, a bag of chips and a jumbo coke. :-)

Not that I know of…she is one of my wife’s Spelman sisters. Now, she may teach. I haven’t asked, though.

Truth – Yeah, pass the collection plate. I keep getting patch jobs, but it’s an old unit they don’t make anymore. The newer units are “green” and don’t require freon. They are also alot more expensive. I got ceiling fans in every room and my boss gave me a window unit he wasn’t using so I have it in my bedroom. I just can’t afford a new unit, so I’m saving to get one next summer. In the meantime, I’m just making due.

Does your son play offense or defense? I played both, but most people say that smart people play offense and those with good reaction skills play defense. Many folks thought that I was a better Offensive Tackle than defensive line.

It is good that he found something that he enjoys. As the old sayin’ goes “Football is just life marked off in 100 yards”. It kept me out of a lot of trouble. I would have benefitted from it even if I didn’t get a college education and a little bit of a paycheck in the pros.

@Raqi ~ Tell me about it. I was surprised when she wanted to bring cupcakes to school this morning (thought she outgrown this). I was up last night making red velvet cupcakes for her. Then had to get up at 6:30 to make bacon and pancakes for her breakfast. Man, what would I do if I had more than one. LOL, probably the same thing!

I’ve been advised on several occasions, by several people, to avoid guys that brag about their abilities. I’m told they usually don’t stack up.

There have even been cases where parents have driven their kids to houses to break in.

PG – Leggs had a break in last week. She’s okay and got her stuff back. But it was the next door neighbors kids and we all feel that the parents were in on it!

Actually, when I read what happened with Wise’s friend, I did not have that sense of  everyone else has. With so many folks willing to actually do the deed on the first date, why is some dude making a crude remark such a surprise?

They play their first official game tomorrow. They are all so hyped. Wish he would get hyped like that about World Geography and English.

O-line is a thinking man’s position. After all, O-line knows where the ball is going. I hated pulling which is probably why I liked defense better. I was good at pulling, but I just hated it.

I wish him and his team well.

Her son needs to learn consequences for his actions. Even though you weren’t home you could have been, some one could have seen him and used violence to stop him. It could have ended badly.

He asked her to give him some money and when she refused, he said he then would have no choice but to begin robbing and stealing! Never mind getting a job or cutting some lawns to make extra money. @ARed, thanks for the answer!

@PG/Ared as for crime there was a church on the news, where thieves broke in and came back the next day to steal more. The last I heard APD wasn’t sure if the thieves came back, or if the thieves on the second day were a new set. Even Lyfe had problems with break-ins to his home.

Oh yea, I have an associate that lives in Riverdale not far from the airport. They were having problems in their sub-division about two or three years ago with break-ins. Long story short, the breaks-ins were teens going in stealing electronics and game systems. The problem ceased when one of the boys got shot by the homeowner.
