Freaky Friday: Whose fantasy is it?
Have you ever wondered if you were too “vanilla” or inexperienced compared to your date or significant other? Would it bother you if you found out that you were?
I ask because a friend of mine went on a first date with a new guy recently. He randomly mentioned his rendezvous with two women during the date. Yes, you read that right.
I will pause here so you can react with disbelief like I did.
She became “visibly annoyed” and quickly changed the subject, unfortunately she had already heard too much. Now she can’t seem to shake off the little details he managed to divulge.
Where do I even begin? First of all, why would you even mention your former hook-ups with someone you are interested in? How tacky is that? Secondly, is that some kind of new compatibility test some people use now?
Mr. Threesome rambled on about how he was glad he got it out of his system. Is this the sort of thing that single people want to do before they settle down? Does sowing your wild oats mean you get to want to live out some fantasy that you have?
He also argued “they don’t call it every man’s fantasy for nothin”. I know, charming guy, right? Do you think this is true?
When you are in a relationship, do you think it matters if one person is more “vanilla” than the other?

@PoppaG….Do the Football union reps get to send the financials of each team?
An 18 game schedule could play havoc on those players who are borderline to make it in the league. No time to see them play could get you in the Canadian league…

You’d have a different borderline for players. The current roster limit is 53 player. They should raise the limit to about 70, and probably increase the practice squad, too.

Pops – You think the talk of expanding to 18 really is a ploy by the league to use in renegotiating the CBA. I’m thinking they just want the Union to agree or disagree so long as they get the other items pushed through without the stoppage.

I think that they are serious about the expansion of the schedule. Have you seen the crowds at these preseason games? No one wants to pay to see the starters just play the first quarter. 2 less preseason games will impact fringe players more than the starters.

Pops – I can agree with that. I just dont think they can push it through during this CBA without giving the players MAJOR concessions. Now for the fringe players, I believe if the rosters and practice squads are expanded then its a wash. You’ll see more 5th and 6th rounders making the team.

I think that they will be able to pass it through to the players. Where else will they go? It isn’t like the NBA where players can go to Europe. They can go to the UFL or CFL, but they will not make anything like they are now.
The owners gave in bigtime in 2006. That is why they are voiding this deal. It makes no sense to void the contract to give in to the same demands. I think small markets need the deal to go back to them a little. Teams like Buffalo and Kansas City need the money. We all know that Jerry Jones just wants more money to pay on his Jerry Shrine.

A rookie cap needs to be in place. Rookies make too much in the signing bonus before taking a snap and some of them will not cut it in the league.
