Off the market? Act like it!
It seems like everyone has their own code of dating ethics. It would be a lot easier if we all could follow the same set! This would come in handy when it comes to figuring out who to invest more time and energy into.
I am finding that a lot of guys I meet say they aren’t seeing anyone special but that is not the entire truth. Sometimes hey are exploring a relationship with someone else they just haven’t stop looking at other options.
It’s that whole “always looking for the better model” syndrome. I think it’s partly due to insecurity because most people do this as a defense mechanism. Do you think this is something that people ever outgrow?
I spotted my friend’s boyfriend at a restaurant and he was not acting like a guy who just asked his girl to move in with him. I always wonder how men who are in relationships” behave” when their women aren’t around.
Do you think there is a line that people just shouldn’t cross when they are supposedly in a committed relationship? Why does that line get so blurry?
I always ask men who I am seriously involved with what their definition of cheating is. I figure if we can check out each other’s perspective on what is unacceptable behavior then we already know what the expectations are.
What do you think, if you are off the market but still conduct your same “on the hunt” behavior, shouldn’t you re-think that whole “exclusive” thing altogether?
Is that a sign that they aren’t the one for you?

Every guy I know has had an experience with the “The CRAZY” chick!!! I once had a pyscho call a locksmith to my house and tried to get him to change the locks!!! Good thing I had a cool neighbor that tipped me off that there was some funny biz going on at the crib!!!

And as for the playhouse I’ve never been but it sounds like a whole lotta fun. You know it’s hosted by Wanda from V-103 and there are no cell phones or camera allowed. The last time I saw a skrippa was at a birthdat party many moons ago but I didn’t tip cause Mr.Cheeksgot paid off the top…good times.

I just don’t understand why, if you really want to be free & flexible, why do you even bother with having a gf/bf/spouse?
I was talking about a friend that followed her high school sweetheart to UGA and how he chased everything in a skirt (he was an athlete). Brat I think remarked why even have a girlfriend in that circumstance? I wondered the same thing, but most of the athletes I knew had a girlfriend, whether she was there or back home. One could understand being young and wanting to date around and have fun. Why bother with girlfriends? I wondered the same thing.
A lot of heartache could be saved if more folks just remained single and dated openly, not even shack. Get it out of your system until you are ready to commit, if ever.
But I guess that’s a perfect world, which doesn’t exist!

@Kimmie I can truly see both sides because every situation is different and relationships go through cycles. When you are in a stand still cycle I can see someone looking at outside options. Marriage is different, but for single people I think they should look at all options and alternatives.

Here is the skinny ladies..and gents..if u dating seriously but u aint engaged to marry yet…hell yeah,any one of u could be hitting somebody else on the side. Coz there is no exclusivity established other than the word of mouth. And if a married person with a ring and certificate can cheat,a girl or boyfriend with verbal exclusive commitment can hit other cootie on the side,easy..in fact,it is a given…Why do u want to deny him??
The bigger qstion should be why arent u asking him to engage u(ring on ur lil finger) if u want to put that wang on lock down?
Simply dating in a supposedly exclusive relationship is also tacit recognition of the fact that if he were to meet somebody that he wld rather sequestrate for himself right away,u gon be benched in favor of her(him).

There was this older couple that purchased a “fixer-upper” in Italy. I put fixer-upper in quotes because this was beyond fixing up. It literally looked like a bomb went thru it! I was excited though because most of the time, they show you how it looks months down the road after they have done their renovations. That lazy couple had done almost nothing after 9 months! I was so mad!LOL!!!
