Most attractive quality?

One of the best parts of dating someone new is finding out more about them.  It’s really fun when you ask questions and get answers that please you and make you even more hopeful.  At the same time, it can also dash your hopes of going to the next level.

I’m the type that would rather know early if we have good potential or not so I tend to ask a lot of questions.  Not in the investigative journalist kind of way, though.  I just try to include questions in general discussions and pay attention to the response.

Once you get past their outer layer and stop marveling about how great they look, you can learn a lot about a person if you actually listen to them speak. This is why I think people become more attractive as we get more acquainted with them.

What do you think is the most attractive quality?  Other than their looks, what trait do you think really makes someone stand out?  How often do you meet someone with that quality?  Do you feel that you possess it?

Hmmmmmmmm

The most attractive quality me is someone that is REAL. I like the “real deal” so I typically find myself loving honesty as a quality.

Stepping out I will check in later.

The most attractive quality – the ability to show love.

I look for a good personality, sincerity, intelligence, and humor. I know it sounds like a lot, but it really isn’t. Of course, I’ve been told that I have all those qualities, but I keep hearing the old line of “I wish I could find a guy LIKE you.” Apparently I’m just not good enough, but someone like me is. Oh well.

This is hard!

I think the most attractive quality for me is just being down to earth. I can’t stand a materialistic person or a person who is not open minded to different points of view and who is not willing to try different things. A person like this tends to come off stuck up and snobbish; this is definetely not a down to earth person!

The most attractive quality that I like in a women is outwardly submissiveness. There is nothing more feminine than a woman who is naturally submissive (not just to her mate, but she’s submissive in her natural personality) and isn’t afraid to be herself publicly. She doesn’t buy into the independent(angry) women garbage. She is comfortable, sensual, feminine, soft, and a rare gem indeed :D

Women who “have it all” are, in MOST cases, are way too competitive, too combative, and independent. These women have proven themselves to be successful as a MAN; they can handle living in a man’s world. Unfortunately they sacrifice their submissiveness to the point of losing their femininity, thus most aspect of being an attractive woman. Real men want real women, not a man for a mate.

These independent, “gotta have it all” types ain’t got nothing on a real submissive woman.

Good Morning peoples

I like confidence. A confident man is, usually, at ease with himself and the world. He is good at what he does and can speak intelligently about most anything. A confident man is not intimidated by anything or anyone else because he’s out there, doing the dang thing. His confidence in his ability to take care of business puts others around him at ease.

Most attractive qualities too me..responsiblity and respect. If I meet a guy who is handling this life’s challenges in a upright manner, who is not negative about every aspect of his life..who is not blaming “the man” for all his troubles..is attractive. A guy who respects the women in his life..be it his mother, sister, mother of his children, if he is showing these women respect and care..then I know he is capable of doing the same with me.

If you all only knew, boy let me tell you…
Real men (those that are ready for “the one”) will move heaven and earth to get to you if your personality was like what I mentioned above. There wouldn’t be any “faults” you have that wouldn’t be overlooked, work on, struggle to overcome, because you’d be well worth the effort; therefore, you would not “hide” from him. He would work tirelessly to fulfill your needs and fulfill his promises to you. He would be the masculine fit to your feminine being, he wouldn’t give a second thought about sacrificing himself to save you. There wouldn’t be ANY games, no disappearing acts, no lies, half truths, or deceptions, No cheating, and would never ever break your heart because he understands you, he understands that if he hurts you, he’s hurting himself.

He’d give you his 100% all day every day.

Now, she has a man in her home who won’t leave because she sold his clothes/stuff that have been in storage for $900. She loses all the way around, and he may walk away, if he walks, with $900. Just dumb. As Steve Harvey said, a lot of women need to stop walking around with “I hope this and I hope that…” and start taking the time and turn that hope into “I know this, I know that….” Have you noticed that the more an animal is thirsty the more bugs are buzzing around him….same with humans!

Perhaps what you say is true. However, I believe that if a man cannot handle this strong, black woman with my independent streak, then perhaps he is not the man for me.

Because I need a man that is quick-witted and strong in his own right where he doesn’t need to compete with my strenghts or weaknesses. I will respect him as the head of the household, as long as he is strong enough (physically, intellectually and mentally {after all you guys have issues too}) to be in charge.

What I am finding is that men want us to be weak so that they can feel strong. However, I have been independent for a long time (even while I was married), and I know how to take my car for a service, add oil to my car, read a map, etc. without pretending to be ‘feminine’.

Don’t be offended…I’m just saying….we are all that. But we want and need you too but by our side, not in charge of us.

Morning all –

The most attractive quality: CHARACTER.

I had brunch with a friend who is going thru a divorce. The thing she learned most about her experience is that she was with a man who chose his own self interests over his family’s. They were married less than 2 years. That’s heavy.

That’s one of the reason I’m so into this man of mine. No he’s not perfect, but he makes some solid azz decisions. In addition, he totally believes a happy woman is the key to a peaceful home.

Strawberry letter:

I met a man on BlackPeopleMeet.com and he appeared to be a great person. He had good principles, a car, a job and a condo. After meeting and dating for three months, I asked him to move in with my two kids and me. In my mind I figured that he would come in and we could work together to achieve our goals. The problem is about one month after he moved in his car disappeared with a story. Then the condo was not his, he was renting and owed rent. The job ended and he hasn’t had a long-term job in two years. I found out more lies such as the 52-inch TV that he purchased at SAMS club was actually rented. The engagement ring he claims he paid down on for me? Well, lets just say he never arrived at the store. To my defense, I used the economy as an excuse for his loss of income. When I asked him to apply at Wal-Mart or Home Depot he flatly refused, saying they don’t pay enough. Ok, I left out the part where he helped me paint the building where I have my business saving me $2000. He also helped me renovate an apartment that my tenant trashed which would have been about $3 or $4 thousand in damages. He helped me by picking up my children from school, saving me aftercare fees. He had some furniture, which was stored in my garage, which I sold to a tenant for $900 dollars. Now that I asked him to move out he wants the furniture back. I don’t think that I should have to pay him back. He owes me for using my leased car which he promised to pay the over mileage fee, he has been living without paying anything for the past year and seven months, he is on my cell phone plan, which I pay, and he uses my vehicle to go on HVAC jobs, which he picks up by referral. By the way did I mention that I checked his credit report and he owes $55,000 in back child support? How can I get him out? He refuses to leave until he gets the few pieces of furniture back or the money. What should this stupid 45-year-old do to get rid of this 46-year-old man?

I remember in my mid 20’s I was dating a guy from Memphis. He “seemed” to be kindred spirits in that when he moved back to Memphis for family reasons, I was crushed. I missed this man so much that after a few months of helping his family he was ready to come back to Atlanta. I’ve always lived on my own since leaving Mama’s house, so I agreed he could move in with me. I truly thought I loved and missed this man. I soon realized 2 weeks after him living with me, that I didn’t miss “him” at all, I missed his sexual prowess. Everything was going downhill, and I had to quickly get him out. It wasn’t easy to do, but the police did help me out. Never, ever made that mistake again. Some lessons you need only one lesson plan to master!

Excellent analysis; I’ve noticed (especially in women) that the ones who spout on about their independence and “you can’t handle me” attitude are really masking fears and insecurities with bravado and in the process project those issues as a weakness in others’ character. Your occupation may require that type of persona but it needs to be checked at the door when you get home.

Then turns around and says if whomever he meets, she has to be her (meaning having qualities she has).

I’ve heard stories of guys using this line, and several of my male friends have told me although they love (insert name) they knew she was not the one. My reply has always been stop using her as a substitute until you find the one. Stop using her companionship. Stop using her goodies. Stop using her conversation. Stop using her as a passenger in your car. Stop using HER! If a man tells a woman this…stop waiting. Stop hoping. Stop lingering. Stop telling yourself the lies. Stop thinking he will come around. Lady J – I agree. But typically, there is at least one person you can trust enough to confide in. I absolutely agree that not all of your business is meant to be told to everyone.

There are some tho, that will be taking stuff to the grave. Either because they feel shame or embarrassment or feel they can’t trust anyone with that information. That’s what I mean by skeletons. Stuff you feel you can’t tell anyone about or stuff you purposely try to hide and cover up.

Prof: “My reply has always been stop using her as a substitute until you find the one. Stop using her companionship. Stop using her goodies. Stop using her conversation. Stop using her as a passenger in your car. Stop using HER!” – No person on this planet except the ones that have never been in a relationship can say they have not “USED” someone if you use your context. Every ex that one has is a “substitute” until they find the “one”. I mean she used his companionship. She used his goodies. She used his conversation. She used him a passenger in her car. Why does it always have to be the man is taking away something from chick? Why isn’t it a willing exchange of mind, body and time?

“Man In The Mirror”

I’m Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It’s Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin’ My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer’s Disregard,
A Broken Bottle Top
And A One Man’s Soul
They Follow Each Other On
The Wind Ya’ Know
‘Cause They Got Nowhere
To Go
That’s Why I Want You To
Know

I’m Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change)
(Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah)

I’ve Been A Victim Of A Selfish
Kind Of Love
It’s Time That I Realize
That There Are Some With No
Home, Not A Nickel To Loan
Could It Be Really Me,
Pretending That They’re Not
Alone?

A Willow Deeply Scarred,
Somebody’s Broken Heart
And A Washed-Out Dream
(Washed-Out Dream)
They Follow The Pattern Of
The Wind, Ya’ See
Cause They Got No Place
To Be
That’s Why I’m Starting With
Me
(Starting With Me!)

I’m Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
(Ooh!)
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Ooh!)
And No Message Could Have

Ways
(Change His Ways-Ooh!)
And No Message Could’ve

Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .
(Take A Look At Yourself And

I’m Starting With The Man In

Yeah!)
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways

No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
(If You Wanna Make The

(Take A Look At Yourself And

(You Gotta Get It Right, While
You Got The Time)
(’Cause When You Close Your
Heart)
You Can’t Close Your . . .Your
Mind!
(Then You Close Your . . .
Mind!)
That Man, That Man, That
Man, That Man
With That Man In The Mirror
(Man In The Mirror, Oh Yeah!)
That Man, That Man, That Man
I’m Asking Him To Change
His Ways
(Better Change!)
You Know . . .That Man
No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World

Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Oh Yeah!)
Gonna Feel Real Good Now!
Yeah Yeah! Yeah Yeah!
Yeah Yeah!
Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah
(Ooooh . . .)
Oh No, No No . . .
I’m Gonna Make A Change
It’s Gonna Feel Real Good!
Come On!
(Change . . .)
Just Lift Yourself
You Know
You’ve Got To Stop It.
Yourself!
(Yeah!-Make That Change!)
I’ve Got To Make That Change,
Today!
Hoo!
(Man In The Mirror)
You Got To
You Got To Not Let Yourself . . .

You Know-I’ve Got To Get
That Man, That Man . . .
(Man In The Mirror)
You’ve Got To
You’ve Got To Move! Come
On! Come On!
You Got To . . .
Stand Up! Stand Up!
Stand Up!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Stand Up And Lift
Yourself, Now!
(Man In The Mirror)
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
Aaow!
(Yeah-Make That Change)
Gonna Make That Change . . .

@Proff??

it is trick related! and its a skeleton, long forgotten.

I was on audit assignment 4 about a month, in another city tgether with an office buddy. At nite we wld go hang out that the hotel pub.
One nite,we found some tricks in there so after some dancing and dranking and stuff,we each grabbed one trick and headed upstairs to our respective rooms.

per fetish, I had this long, slim, dark chococlate..phine zulu sister… dont know why she signed onto this profession……..

I pay my dues, she puts the cash inside her shoes and goes on to disrobe…..Im taking notes :-)

I put her to work soon after and she quickly goes to sleep, snoring on my hotel bed….in the middle of the nite, i sneak outa bed and steal take the $10.00 I had paid her.

Next morning, I quickly usher her outta the room without showering, lying and muttering to her about some I cant remember, so she wldnt stand to hang around and figure thangs out…….

I presume my friend had a really nice time with his trick coz the next time we went to that same pub and met those 2 tricks, he attempted to get an encore presentation and his trick denied him, telling him :

Go clear some stuffwith ur friend!

I aint proud of that ish!

selective sharing..if u share sme to a friend for whatever reason but u consclously decide not to share it to another friend coz u dont want them to hear about it..its a skeleton.

or say smething is known in ur fam but not shared to a spouse ..its a skeleton….

A skeleton is not shared indiscriminately. If shared,it may be targetted sharing.

Ofcourse smething thats commonly or widely known within ur circles is not a skeleton.

@Fo Real here’s your answer.

Why does it always have to be the man is taking away something from chick? Why isn’t it a willing exchange of mind, body and time?

I am not saying the man is always taking anything. It’s kinda like riding in a car where you have passengers, a driver, folk in the backseat and another culprit riding hogtied in the trunk. Now, depending on who you ask in the car some folks will say it was a great ride, while dude in the trunk will not have that story. The moral of the story is I cannot change someone’s perspective of what reality was for him/her.

Skeletons in your closet
Itchin’ to come outside
Messin’ with your conscience
In a way your face can’t hide

Oh things are gettin’ real funky
Down at the old corral
And it’s not the skunks that are stinkin’
It’s the stinkin’ lies you tell

[Bridge]
What did your mama tell you about lies
She said it wasn’t polite to tell a white one
What did your daddy tell you about lies
He said one white lie turns into a black one

So, it’s gettin’ ready to blow
It’s gettin’ ready to show
Somebody shot off at the mouth and
We’re getting ready to know

It’s gettin’ ready to drop
It’s gettin’ ready to shock
Somebody done turned up the heater
An’ a it’s gettin’ ready to pop

Crevices in your pantry
Now what do we have in here
Havin’ a day time nightmare
Has always been your biggest fear

Oh things are gettin’ real crucial
Up the old wazoo
Yet you cry, why am I the victim?
When the culprit’s y-o-u

[Bridge]
What did your mama tell you about lies
She said it wasn’t polite to tell a white one
What did your daddy tell you about lies
He said one white lie turns into a black one

So, it’s gettin’ ready to blow
It’s gettin’ ready to show
Somebody shot off at the mouth and

It’s gettin’ ready to drop
It’s gettin’ ready to shock
Somebody done turning the heater
An’ a it’s gettin’ ready to pop

It’s gettin’ ready to seep
You’re gettin’ ready to freak
Somebody done picked up the talk box
And gettin’ ready to speak

It’s gettin’ ready to jive
It’s gettin’ ready to gel
Somebody done gone let the lid off
And it’s gettin’ ready to smell

They’re gettin’ ready to deal
You’re gettin’ ready to ill
Somebody done just dropped the big dime
And they’re gettin’ ready to squeal

It’s gettin’ ready to turn
We’re gettin’ ready to learn
Somebody done fired up the brimstone
And you’re gettin’ ready to burn

It’s gettin’ ready to shake
You’re gettin’ ready to ache
Somebody done snitched to the news crew
And it’s gettin’ ready to break

You’re gettin’ ready to lie

The ones that come to mind no one knows about. Not a select group of friends, no one…that’s a skeleton!

Leggs – I agree with that one. In fact, that’s what my original point when I said I didn’t have one. I was saying that there is nothing that NO ONE can ever know.

But I can condede that there are some gray areas. There are somethings I’ll tell my man and closest friends…but I wouldn’t be thrilled to share with anyone else.

I don’t care what the women on here put. Women are more shallow and superficial when it comes to the people they date. All women care about is good looks, good body, and makes a lot of money. At least men are honest and will outright tell you those are the things we want. Women try to disguise it with all this malarky that oh I want someone who is funny, intelligent, and honest. They may “say” they want all of those things, but when it comes down to it every woman is looking for physical looks first and money as a close second.

At some point you probably get to an age where you figure you’re to old to care about protocol. What does it really matter at 70? You have nothing to lose. I might have pinched your butt. ;-) Would you knock out an old man? Even if you did, I’d probably be too old to care. lol

I merely want someone that is genuine and normal. Too many people try to be somebody they aren’t and simply say what others want to hear. I want to know what someone is like is when things aren’t going there way or they have a bad day. Anybody can put on a good show for a brief period of time, but relationships are hard work. You better find someone with the mental fortitude to know who they are and be confident with that person enough that they’re relatable and pleasant on a daily basis. I can find things in common with almost anyone, but if someone is dishonest or fake then what’s the point?
