Most attractive quality?

One of the best parts of dating someone new is finding out more about them.  It’s really fun when you ask questions and get answers that please you and make you even more hopeful.  At the same time, it can also dash your hopes of going to the next level.

I’m the type that would rather know early if we have good potential or not so I tend to ask a lot of questions.  Not in the investigative journalist kind of way, though.  I just try to include questions in general discussions and pay attention to the response.

Once you get past their outer layer and stop marveling about how great they look, you can learn a lot about a person if you actually listen to them speak. This is why I think people become more attractive as we get more acquainted with them.

What do you think is the most attractive quality?  Other than their looks, what trait do you think really makes someone stand out?  How often do you meet someone with that quality?  Do you feel that you possess it?

Because if you can share it…it’s not a skeleton. Skeletons get exposed. Yep they sure do. But, what I told my friend Anita about what I did that evening is not a skeleton to her, but is a skelton to my other friend Blanch who asked me the same thing and I gave her a different answer. That’s all that’s being said by Melo.

Other than looks, what else is there? A nice set of hooters always helps, and I’m not talking owls.

Right…and that’s why I disagree. Not everyone needs to know all of your business. Doesn’t mean that they are skeletons, it could mean you have a messy friend.

But there could be something to you lying to the other friend tho. That may indeed make it a skeleton as you’re purposely trying to cover it up.

Selectively sharing tho…naw, doesnt mean it’s a skeleton.

@Ladyj…lol, o.k. talk to you soon.:) and you are right…some folks did miss their classification and IEP assignment in grade school. there is a such thing as personality disorders….lol.

@ARed…i agree that there is no one person that needs to know all of your business. the only one who truly knows everything about you is the one who made you…and i don’t mean mom and dad…lol. giving all your secrets to one person just isn’t smart. it gives one too much power that most can’t handle.

And dayumit, I’m about to put this whole debate to rest:

Your skeleton is a bony framework of about 206 bones.Your skeleton keeps you upright and provides support for your body. It also provides a tough barrier to protect delicate organs such as your brain

@professor…no problem!:) how are classes going?

@forreal…yeah, when ppl feel too full of information, usually they let it spew out! lol then you have to deal w/breach of trust and all sorts of other mess. the easy way to avoid it is by NOT telling one person everything. it saves you both the agony of the aftermath.

@Ared??

lemme ask u this..tho…

for the past 10 years, i have attended some church, sporadically but they still consider my fam and i as members..we friends too with the pastor….

my pastor is married with 2 kids..nice young couple…and he is friends with another guy,im best friends with……

But pastor has a luv child with some Florida woman and this other friend told me that. recently….his wife came to terms with it i guess….

But the kid has never stepped in our church…i bet none of our members know about that. kid..Ever!

To me,it didt come as a shock coz as a man, i know thangs happen but i was surprised……….didnt even tell my Queen coz she has so much high regard of him(not that having a kid outside is shameful but still)

Skeletons in your closet
Itchin’ to come outside
Messin’ with your conscience
In a way your face can’t hide

Oh things are gettin’ real funky
Down at the old corral
And it’s not the skunks that are stinkin’
It’s the stinkin’ lies you tell

[Bridge]
What did your mama tell you about lies
She said it wasn’t polite to tell a white one
What did your daddy tell you about lies
He said one white lie turns into a black one

So, it’s gettin’ ready to blow
It’s gettin’ ready to show
Somebody shot off at the mouth and
We’re getting ready to know

It’s gettin’ ready to drop
It’s gettin’ ready to shock
Somebody done turned up the heater
An’ a it’s gettin’ ready to pop

Crevices in your pantry
Now what do we have in here
Havin’ a day time nightmare
Has always been your biggest fear

Oh things are gettin’ real crucial
Up the old wazoo
Yet you cry, why am I the victim?
When the culprit’s y-o-u

[Bridge]
What did your mama tell you about lies
She said it wasn’t polite to tell a white one
What did your daddy tell you about lies
He said one white lie turns into a black one

So, it’s gettin’ ready to blow
It’s gettin’ ready to show
Somebody shot off at the mouth and
We’re gettin’ ready to know

It’s gettin’ ready to drop
It’s gettin’ ready to shock
Somebody done turning the heater
An’ a it’s gettin’ ready to pop

It’s gettin’ ready to seep
You’re gettin’ ready to freak
Somebody done picked up the talk box
And gettin’ ready to speak

It’s gettin’ ready to jive
It’s gettin’ ready to gel
Somebody done gone let the lid off
And it’s gettin’ ready to smell

They’re gettin’ ready to deal
You’re gettin’ ready to ill
Somebody done just dropped the big dime
And they’re gettin’ ready to squeal

It’s gettin’ ready to turn
We’re gettin’ ready to learn
Somebody done fired up the brimstone
And you’re gettin’ ready to burn

It’s gettin’ ready to shake
You’re gettin’ ready to ache
Somebody done snitched to the news crew
And it’s gettin’ ready to break

You’re gettin’ ready to lie
They’re gettin’ ready to spy
Somebody’ s been put on the hot seat
And you’re gettin’ ready to fry
