Hot summer fun

The temps are rising people! It’s hard to stay sexy in the summer but I think I’ve managed to make the best of it.  Atlanta has a lot to offer and some of it goes down inside a building with great air conditioning! Or the event takes place right when the heat relents as the sun sets.  What do you do for hot summer fun?

This is the time of year that men really love too.  The ladies are wearing less..for survival and sexy purposes. Everyone is vacationing or planning for one, so people are friendly and happy.  This pretty much makes conditions perfect for mixing and mingling. So how do we find each other!?

What places have the best patios to be seen? Where can you meet someone who shares your interests and hobbies?

We need names and addresses people! A summer time guide to the Atlanta dating scene. Spill your secrets and we promise to thank you..somehow, in some way. Whatever, just be generous, it’s good for your health.

Happy Friday!

since sexy season is now, I find it only appropriate that I start back up with P90X. I did it last night and my body is feeling it!!! :-D

My patio spot that I discovered last year and I’m sure I will be attending again this year is the W in midtown!! you just never know who you will run into :-D

on topic: Where can you meet someone who shares your interests and hobbies?…. anywhere you indulge in your interests and hobbies. no?

several spots along ponce near highland and in midtown are great for patio dining and people watching when the sun goes down. and of course nothing beats L5P for people watching when folks start acting summer crazy.

i’m off to play in traffic folks. God willing, i’ll catch up with yas in a bit.

“It’s hard to stay sexy in the summer”…really, where does this take place? Alaska maybe???

Summer and sexy go hand in hand!

I too will be taking notes so I’ll know where to go on my own to people watch.

Hola!

It is easy to stay sexy in the summer to me. Just put on your tank top, shorts, cute dresses, sandals and go get’em!

As for patio dining there are a lot of spots in Atlanta, but I like the low key places that are not to crowded and you can enjoy the conversation.

F2B, you’re right. You can’t see it from Piedmont. It is on a side street and if you go under the MARTA bridge, you went too far.

Good morning

I love it when it is kept sexy all year round and I would have to agree that I do enjoy the ponce and highland area.

@Professor- Hola baby. I have noticed lately that I seem to enjoy more of the low key places lately myself. A little more personable and condusive to conversation. I went to this spot over the weekend and that was the opposite and it seemed like every woman that tried to holla at me kept yelling louder and louder to talk over music and everyone else after awhile they all started looking retarded. Lol

@Trevor there are some items like bodywash, toothpaste, mouthwash etc. that I spend less when I go online. Usually Wal-greens or CVS will have a promo like save $5 off $25. Plus you have to factor in online I am more focus in the store I pick-up extra junk that I don’t need.

On topic: Last summer was a dud for me, so I plan to make up for it this summer.

@Trevor- I have done some grocery shopping on line years ago, but they are out of business now or something has changed. It was too cool. Made me lazy as hell tho. I loved it. I started trying to figure out if I would have to ever leave the house for anything.

I get a lot of clothes for my 2yr old that I can’t find in stores. Saves time!!!
I wish I could order grocercies online. If anyone knows of a spot, put me on.

@Dig That, I used webvan, I think that was the name and you are right it made me lazy as hell too.

@I am I will order my tea, coffee, oatmeal and a few other items online. Usually if you can get it online I go that route to free up my personal time.

@I am I feel you on that one…I can see myself online now. Only three chicken wings per pack, plump juicy peaches, ripe pineapple, green kale, and the list goes on LOL

@Leggs the next time that heifer sends you a picture like that you better tell her a thing or two. I am willing to bet $$$ you taught her how to make them…LOL

@Dig That my voice is not that high and I hate trying to yell over the music. I love a low key spot with a good menu and make some conversation music in the background. A place like that I will forget about time, especially if I am with good company.

@I am you know I like to eat my wangs in 3s. Right now I usually buy a lot of groceries once a month and I might have to stop by the store every other week to pick up some milk or some fruit. Usually that is a quick errand that only takes a few minutes and I always spend less than $20, but now my big shopping spree once a month is a little different.

This is freaky! I’m on the phone with a guy who left me a voicemail on my cell phone this morning. I called the number back and lo and behold he’s saying “good morning, sexy,” I really enjoyed meeting you Saturday. I asked who am I speaking to and he was a little offended. He says “I know you weren’t that high that you don’t remember me.” I told him I have no idea who he is after he gave me his name. I’m laughing and he’s surprised. He finally realizes that the woman gave him a bogus number (well, gave my number). He comments on my laugh and my accent (which isn’t hard anymore). We talk. He’s very polite. He’s 53 and would like to meet me for lunch. This is crazy, but funny as hell!
