What if chemistry didn’t exist?

I don’t think anyone can ever explain the chemistry that exists between two people who really desire one another.  It’s impossible to predict, understand,  or destroy – I have attempted all three.  I think so many times we get hung up on that feeling of intense desire and attraction that we forget how to put it in it’s proper place.  What is it’s proper place?

Do you let go of a wonderful person because they don’t do it for you? Do you expect the person who does it for you, to always give you that feeling of intense chemistry?  How long can that feeling possibly last before you settle into the reality of one another, instead of the “idea” of one another.

The reality is that there is much more to love and relationships then chemistry. Yet, a lot of times, we won’t let a potential romance start without it. Are we fooling ourselves?  What would happen if chemistry between two people didn’t exist. How would we determine who we truly connect with and who we shouldn’t?

If we didn’t have chemistry, do you think our dating experiences would be less romantic?

They’re trying to salvage/collect what’s spilling so they don’t keep losing money.

Dreams- You think that was the reason for the attempt to cap it first instead of try the cement block first?

ofcourse USA will proly go out in the 1st round…

Melo- That’s cold.

What do you think will be worse, the countless lawsuits that are to come or paying for another rig??
JtJ the solution they’re planning to implement now is probably the one they should’ve implemented from day one. They will end up paying more in clean up costs, economic payouts, and probably law suits as well. Currently there is a $75 million cap on the amount they are allowed to pay out to businesses and local governments, but Congress is working to remove that mandate or raise the cap to $10 billion.

Size 13s in athletic shoes aren’t usually that hard to find. If so, thanks to the interweb…you can order them anyway. They will cost more, though. Dress shoes are much tougher as you go up.

Do you realize how much money that BP rakes in yearly? The lawsuits are just gonna be pocket change to them. What is 400 million dollars when your bring in billions? It is like what is 500 dollars when you make thousands.

Boycotting BP stations doesn’t hurt BP. It hurts the mom and pop gas stations. BP owns no stations in Georgia. They just get into agreements with convenience store folks.

Rand Paul has given the Tea Party opposition ammunition against the Tea Party. Many folks think that the Tea Party folks are racists and he has given them something to hang their hats on when he basically said that he didn’t agree with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and even questioned if he would have voted for it.

@Luvbug

No and yes… he has received some baptism since winning the race.

I dont think Paul is a racist, hes just an idealist and his theories dont work in practice….otherwise, like Rachel showcased last nite, he could try Somalia where there is no govt…see how that goes!

I can’t remember this man’s name but he was going off on GMA this morning about the lack of direction the President is showing during this oil spill crisis. He was almost in tears pleading his lack of understanding over the President’s inaction. He was incredulous that the President has continued BP to slowly find a solution to cleanup the spill. The shrill in his voice made me think of Katrina and President Bush’s lack of response. Where was the cry for help from Washington then!

Poppa – He questioned the Americans with Disabilities Act too. And he said Obama was being “too hard” on BP.

How much you want to bet he gets elected though?

PG – Yeah he’s definitely cornered himself and made the Tea party look even worse. He looked completely ridiculous trying to explain how he only disagreed with the private (relating to small business) portion of the Act…and couldn’t explain how rampant discrimination wouldn’t exist without the Act.
