Men are like taxis?
I not ashamed to admit that I am one of the army of women who is excited about Sex and the City 2 movie. Hey, don’t judge me! My love for that show pre-dates my taking on the fun role of dating blogger. We have the show Sex and the City to thank for my favorite dating analogy: Men are like taxis.
No, I don’t mean men are sometimes really smelly and slightly terrifying in New York. Although that one might apply too. I am referring to the theory that when a man is ready for, or open to, the possibility of a relationship he turns his taxi light on. If you happen to be the girl that hails the taxi while the light is on, you’ve got a possibility of a great and hopefully long ride (no pun intended naughty people!). If you get in a cab with the light off, it doesn’t really matter what you do, it’s just not going to go anywhere.
So basically, this analogy is the basis of every single woman’s dating life. How do you decide what kind of cab ride you’re on. If it were easy to see the light, we would all be talking about whales or golf right now.
Men, if you have a heart you will let us ladies know how to determine her guy’s taxi cab light: on (ready and open?) or dimmed (unsure?) or flashing (undecided)?
Are women like taxis too? I honestly don’t think I have turned my taxi cab light on properly. I am working on it though!
Ladies, do you think that men are like taxis? Will you go to see the movie Sex and the City 2?

my beautician won’t let me get streaks…over last few years have been getting my hair back healthy…but i trust her judgement so oh well for any highlights for now.
@ Slim, I made the decision myself to lay off the highlights, my previous beautician bleached me (without my knowledge also another reason for my departure) and every since then I have been against the highlighting thing, not against color so much because well premature greying runs in the family and i refuse to walk around with a salt and pepper patch at 30 1/2
until recently though i was only doing “rinses”, i just for the first time in like 2 years had perm color (the same as my natural color) done.

Don’t know about other strip joints, but the food at Strokers comes from the restaurant next door. You order at Strokers and they bring it over. I was shocked, but their Patty Melts are very, very good.

PrincessNik – Chile greying runs in my fam too. I use this color conditioner which is almost like a rinse but it colors the gray that makes it look like red streaks. Hair is something else….WORK!

hey everyone! I am officially out of LURK status. My office is no longer a jungle. I just got back from my nieces graduation from the 8th grade. I can’t believe the twins are going to be in High school in the fall! I swear it feels as if they were in diapers like 2 years ago haha!

I see your point USMC, at the same time, any fan of the show will tell you that the writers from the show ALWAYS wrote about THEIR misadventures in dating, so in a way it’s based in reality, therefore it was art imitating life, erego…you guys have porn, we got Sex and the City, let’s just call it even with no judgment, ok pumpkin.
