The biggest liars
According to our friends across the pond, men are bigger liars” Men lie the most and feel less guilty about it — but women are the better liars, a British survey has found.” You have to love those studies! Human behavior and the reason we do the things we do always plays out on the dating scene.
It’s kind of par for the course to either catch someone in a lie or tell some zinger to someone to get out of something, or um into something. I suppose there are times when we feel justified in lying by omission, misleading people, or outright telling a very tall tale. It’s still very wrong. Yet, somehow lies lead to more lies.
It’s actually a real issue that a lot of us face and sometimes worry about. How do you know if the person you have met and started dating is not a raging liar?
The CNN article listed the the top male lies and top female lies. I am curious to know what are some of the craziest lies you’ve ever heard? I’ve had men get pretty creative with their “enhancement on the truth” stories. I could totally write a book! I think the biggest liar was the guy who claimed he had a twin brother and tried to date my college room mate and I simultaneously. Ah, the memories!
I’m no angel though, I once told a guy that I cooked some meals that were actually catered foods. He was one of those “she must cook” guys that I was trying to impress. I was busted on the third time, though!

@BMW I am glad you feel me on my post. The good thing is you are hanging out with friends that helped me a lot and slowly I started testing the waters. I did a lot of reflecting during that time as well. Like you said there is nothing worst when someone plays on your kindness and other good characteristics…if you are not careful it will make you store all of that goodness on a shelf and become bitter. I refused to do that, because I am a good person outside of my sassy azz mouth…lol.

Lady J…actually mine was in gwinnett we broke up December of ‘05 or ‘06. Its funny how something that was so important at that time fades away…I am trying to figure out the exact year. I know it was December, because he still gave me gifts and all hell was breaking loose at that time.

Worst lie of the blog probably. When I wanted a change of scenery because the potential was treating me like the lady I was but wanted to keep sexing the old boyfriend, I would lie lie lie to my old boyfriend and always avoided intimacy or moving towards a serious relationship with the potential guy because truly I was hooked on mind blowing, blinding sex. I came to see the light of just how awful it was when I got pregnant all while telling the potential guy I was no longer seeing the old boyfriend. When I saw just how disappointed the potential guy was in annoucing my pregnancy, I lied and told him he forced himself on me. Because I had been a liar the entire time, although I didn’t lie about the state of my supposedly past volatile relationship he was so angry and looked me in my eyes and asked if I wanted him knocked off. I knew then, what I had done and was doing was wrong on every level. I knew then the seriousness of my wrong. I knew before that it was wrong but didn’t realize the effect you can have or the detriment caused by being a selfish liar. I was VERY afraid after he asked me that and left well enough alone.
