It’s not working

I can imagine that the “friends with benefits” (FWB) arrangement has found its way into most of our lives.  Whether or we planned it or not, FWB doesn’t really have a long shelf-life.  I’m starting to think that this is probably for the best.

I wonder when is it a good idea to pull the plug on it though? When it stops working for you, what do you do? Are you stuck (ew, no pun intended) with them or do you think it’s legal to cut things off and back off?

I’ve heard some of my married friends say, “Girl, if I were single, I would be having a great time with that arrangement!”.  Yes well, I have a wonderful time being single, but getting an ideal friends with benefits arrangement started is about as complicated as getting a good relationship off the ground.

You have to find the right person who is trustworthy and drama-free. Then it helps if they are really hot and attracted to you too.  If I actually manage to locate this person, I’m not suggesting FWB status.  I’m looking at him in disbelief and wondering what I can cook him to impress him! Is it just me? Are there people you meet that actually make a good candidate for no strings attached hook ups?

If you get the Friends with benefits arrangement in place, when do you decide it’s a wrap? Would it take something drastic? Do you just outgrow the situation?

Dig That, we had a great time I was done with work on Friday and we just relaxed and partied together. We got a chance to explore different areas and immerse ourselves in the italian community down there. We loved it so much that we are coming up with a plan to move there together instead of her moving to Atlanta. A couple of years tops :)

Tiger Woods is a reprobate. Having portrayed himself as a role model, a self-proclaimed “Ambassador of Golf”, lets him in for the flack he’s taking. He deserves every bit of it; he’s nothing more than yet another irresponsible athlete. Without golf, what is he? Seriously, you think that many people really watch GOLF? Come on. I enjoy playing golf a great deal, but I never watch it. I’ve never seen Tiger Woods play golf, and I doubt I ever will. Has anyone here actually bothered to watch him play? Probably not many.

Billy Payne’s comments about him are dead-on.

Being Pretty or good looking is real luck, come to think of it.. to quote terrence howard, “a genetic coincidence of symmetry”.

i don’t know of any woman who can’t stand looking at herself in the mirror. perhaps not nude, but still. gotta love yourself!

abc, there are two dedicated golf channels year round. So I imagine tons watch golf and watch Tiger play. Billy Payne also said these things today about Tiger that were spot on.

After comparing Woods the golfer to Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, Payne proceeded to chastise Woods the role model for his behavior off the course and toward fans.

“As he ascended in our rankings of the world’s great golfers, he became an example to our kids that success is directly attributable to hard work and effort,” Payne said during his opening remarks. “But as he now says of himself, he forgot in the process to remember that with fame and fortune comes responsibility, not invisibility. It is not simply the degree of his conduct that is so egregious here; it is the fact that he disappointed all of us and, more importantly, our kids and our grandkids. Our hero did not live up to the expectations we saw for our children.”

Payne seemed to be as bothered by how aloof Woods is in public as he was by his private transgressions.

“Certainly his future will never again be measured only by his performance against par, but measured by the sincerity in his efforts to change,” Payne said. “I hope he realizes that every kid he passes on the course wants his swing but would settle for his smile.

“I hope he can come to understand that life’s greatest rewards are reserved for those who bring joy to other people.”

I’m a sinner, just like everyone else, that’s true; but I’m not a big fake that got rich on endorsements because of such fraud, I frankly don’t give a flip about how good of a golfer he is, and really, I don’t think many others outside the PGA and the media do either. Big deal. It’s only golf.

Now, I don’t hold anything against Tiger Woods, but I don’t hold up any banners in his favor, either. I consider the media circus to be a ridiculous freak show, and Tiger is the headline freak.

czbrat, I do not think that there are any women who think that that are ugly, even though some should not be so high on themselves.

Dig That, it is like a big melting pot down there. Everyone just all in the same place, happy.

i know what you mean Carlito (and i’ll try not to laugh). but everyone is beautiful to someone. maybe they’re so high on themselves to compensate for lack of compliments. actually, i think women who KNOW they’re attractive are much more likely to be overly confident about their looks. just imo.

DreamsMaterialize….I am sure with your respectfull demeanor and calm approach you will have most women who meet your some of your standards who want you to hit!

I do not go in the friend zone too often because they always want me to hit it! As wise me know a good listener and cape crusader will put in the puddy zone a lot.

Thanks Professor….Being respectful is how I was raised, I do like to throw on my cape I know I will get a comment or two from DK!

ABC easy on Tiger, who said Tiger was a hero? I thought you had to save someone from a burning building in order to be called a hero!

Hello Wisa Diva! How is the dating world treating you?
