How flexible are you?
If you’ve ever been on a date with an uptight, straight-laced person, then you already know how much fun it is to be around them. It seems as if these individuals are not always aware that they come across as uncompromising and inflexible. I’m not the type to turn into some doormat for a man. Believe me, I can speak up and express my opinion without hesitation. However, I am also able to go with the flow and relax too.
I think that while dating around, you absolutely have to be able to keep a good attitude. If you go around with hard and strict rules about every single thing then you are bound to run off a potentially great match. How flexible are you in dating? How do you handle sudden plan changes? What do you do when you don’t get your way on a date?
Have you ever dated someone who was stubborn and set in their ways? Is there a point where you have to either accept them for who they are or call them on it and ask them to bend a little?
I think when you have been single and on your own for a long time, your compromising muscle seems to atrophy a bit. What is a good way to exercise it a little?

Thanks, ARed for the tip on making the changes to my FaceBook settings. I was getting tired of FB invading my life a little too often. I love social networking. I just have no desire to live my *whole* life on/through it.

ok PK and mothers calm me down…..lil lady made two st8 100 on spelling tests….today was a test with an increase of words 13 vs….maybe 9 or ten…..they had the test today bc daddy and me day is tomorrow……tell me to calm down bc I didn’t make 100 on everything and lil lady will miss stuff too……I just called up to the school asking since i won’t be getting her today……my smile went like OK str8 face……lol woooosah!

SCool – You are quite welcome. I’m pretty savvy at figuring out all the settings and locking ish down. Most of my friends come to me with questions.
No notifications come to my phone after a certian hour either. That’s another way to keep yourself “unplugged.”

In terms of flexibility, I’ve been told that I often seem unapproachable. I’m working on reducing my expectations (but not my standards) and just have fun.

There are some VERY high maintence women there that don’t roll like that either.
This crowd definitely exists in LA. You have to be careful though because there are lots of fakers (men and women). Honestly, most people didn’t have the funds to do the real high maintainence stuff in LA. LA high maintaninence is on another level.
Loose women are not exclusive to Cali neither are frigid to Atlanta.

On the topic of Cali endeavors, there are some great things to do in Cali. Wine country is great. So, are the cliffs overlooking the ocean in Santa Barbara. Sitting in a natural hot spring in the mountains at night, overlooking the valley. A desert sunset/sunrise. It’s the creative dater’s paradise.

You are very Lucky that her dad is so supportive. Some of these money hungry “baby-mamma’s” have dudes thinking its just about the money. Yes, i want you to help bear the financial responsibility of the child you helped create. HOWEVER, spending time with the child and being around and available to the child is just as important and should be equally balanced. Be willing to explain to the child that you didn’t come around because of your own idiocy not because you were not allowed or not welcomed.
