Dangerous Curves
An interesting thing about scientific studies , they reveal a lot about human behavior while further confirming what we already see every day. I read this article, Curvy women like a drug to men’s brains, yesterday that stated, “For the study, 14 men with the average age of 25 looked at “before” and “after” pictures of nude women who had plastic surgery to get more shapely behinds.” Researchers concluded by the male response that, “photos of the women resulted in increased activity in the part of the brain associated with rewards.”
Well, I suppose this study has a lot a lot of merit, but any nude picture of women is bound to to cause some kind of stimuli in a man. I found it interesting that they attributed the male’s biological response as scientific explanation of “sexual harassment, whistling to women on the street, etc. They even said that some of this research can be used in understanding more about sexual addiction. (Insert your own famous golfer joke here).
What do you think about the research? Do you think women should be studied to see what they’re response to the male form is? After seeing Alvin Ailey male dancers perform, I can attest to being “mesmerized” by the physical male body. It’s a beautiful thing. Oh yes, it is. But I digress.
What do you think this study says about how men and women perceive each others physical appearance? How does this show up in how we interact on the dating scene? Should women play up or play down their dangerous curves if they want to attract the right kind of attention?

kimmie, like way before the baby was born, Mase and I would have dinner at home and then go out for dessert and coffee. The night atmosphere at the coffee spots is really cozy. Especially during the colder months when the fireplace would be crackling and flickering up in there.

ok. what have i missed? Melo i’m neither single nor never-married, but i have been both at different times
i’m not a big eater, so ordering light is not meant to impress the guy nor deceive him. that’s just me. also not that big on dessert unless there’s cheesecake on the menu. yum!!

@ I AM… no ones trying to rain on you. Advice/suggestions given were based on what you’ve shared.
You come across as being overly optimistic in spite of what you already know. I wouldn’t be surprised if tomorrow you came back to say he hit it and we’re back together, and guess what the theme would be “if that’s what you want”.
Actually, you do sound much better than when you 1st came out… you were scaring me.

Luvbug before motherhood I spent 200 bucks in there easily desserts drinks woohoo miss those days!!!!!! That was a hot place along with the shark bar being a country gal I truly though I was doing big thangs in 02 and 03 lolol wow!

Any man asking a woman out on a date should be prepared for either, else he should not be dating.
True sometimes, but there are places I could take a woman where I would refuse to let her order certain things on the menu. If we’re at Chops and you get the urge to order a vintage wine, I’ll let you know you’re on your own with that. If you think a few glasses of Louis XIII are in order, you can take care of that as well.
kimmie you’re right, she has a right to her preference. Maybe I’d have to introduce her to Pampas and see if she has a change of heart.

Raqi, I just love cozy fires and I’m a coffee junkie & you know I love dessert, being a baker and all!LOL!!
Intermezzo reminds me of this cool spot I went to up in Greenwich Village in NYC. They had 2 or 3 fire places going and all tables were dressed in white linen. But all they served was dessert & drinks. I ordered 2 desserts.
Yeah, I love that cool, laid-back, artsy scene!
