I Blame Hollywood
“I blame Hollywood,” Jeff said with a straight face. My buddy was trying to convince me that romantic comedies and films about love have contributed to relationship fantasies. He thinks they set us up for unrealistic expectations because we see what romance “looks like” on the big screen then feel let down when we don’t have the same thing.
I don’t know, I felt rather insulted. I consider myself pretty realistic. Do I love romance in films? Of course! Am I expecting the men I date to be the Darius Lovehall to my Nina Mosely (Love Jones)? Not so much!
I argued that if women have distorted views about relationships from romance films then men should consider their porn consumption. Some men watch porn and expect the same in real life. I know, it was a weak counter argument, but I kept a straight face anyway!
If men can distinguish from their sexual fantasies that are played out in porn, why can’t women do the same with romance in film? What do you guys think? Are romantic movies just “chick porn” as Jeff jokingly replied?
Is it hard to stay in reality when we are watching so much fantasy on tv and in film? Do you think our mass media consumption influences how we date and relate to each other?

The art of sensuality is for all to enjoy. Just as colors are use in a painting to express feeling, my art of sensuality has taken pieces of pertaining to Love, Unity, Gracefulness, Arousal, Joy, Luxury, and the basic nurturing nature of a woman. This is what i celebrate and this is how i bring light to the world.
We all know that some may not be able to comprehend the level of the concept that i am trying to express. They may understand if they look into what it is i’m trying to do. They are enjoying it. And i have no regrets about their nature rising. At first it may look like soft porn because of social conditioning. Understanding this concept is not an easy task.
Let me repeat the fact to make it clear that it does not offend me to make their nature rise. They are expressing their level of comprehension. and as long as it is not expressed in a derogatory manner i have no problem with it.
I have studied movement from the commercialized dance art form and interpersonal communication skills. i have studied in Egypt. Through prayer and meditation i have been brought to this conclusion to bring forth this art. This is something that comes natural to me and has been developed over many years. There seems to be no definition in this society for it. But there is a place for it.
Your experience depends on you as an individual. Most will feel the energy that may manifest into genital stimulation. This will be due to there level. The lower the level the more animalistic and earthiness their response will be, As a person rises above this social conditioning they may feel a sense of love and want unity.
A derogatory action in my definition is something that is breaded from hate and not just sexual or sensual stimulation.
I will know when they say thank you for being there. That genuinely expresses to me that i have touched somebody in a positive way. I don’t have clients i have friends that i have touched the lives of on my journey. Those that know me understand my sensual nature and appreciate it

My favorite romantic movie even though it may be corny is Jerry Maguire where he walks in asking for his wife, it still gets to me every time and Say Anything. Romantic movies are something to see to take your mind of reality for awhile. But I know that a man is not coming to me on a white horse, or sing to me.
