One of the best part of going out with someone new is exploring their personality. Not only are you putting in face time to determine how strong your attraction is, you also get to discover the way they think.
When things are going well, you move past the shallow conversations and small talk. I love to go deeper in conversations and find out how much we are alike, how we differ, and even learn something new.
Once you go below the surface, you find out what a person is truly passionate about. In my experience, this is how you manage to get to a second and third dates. You both are so captivated by the conversation, you can’t wait for another opportunity to, well go deeper!
It is always a great sign when you can have a great discussion with someone you are attracted to. I think that a person’s dating conversation can make or break a date. Have you ever been on a second date with someone whose conversation left you confused, annoyed, or bored? Trust me, if you struggle with this, it’s something you should work on.
What do you like to discuss on a date? If you find out that you are intellectually unmatched, do you think your attraction to the person would fade?

“if he didn’t interest you in his heyday, what piqued the interest today?” Good question! I don’t really know. I know I didn’t give him a fair chance just getting over my divorce, and thought I wasn’t really seeing him with clear eyes. Thought I see if with me being “whole” again, I may see him differently. Unfortunately, I didn’t and we will forever remain in the FZ.

oh…my country names post got eaten.
this is when you have true core southerners in your family. But my southern belle cut came from grandma and aintees <— lol pronounced "ain't tees" down south.
read common southern names: lean, anne, frank, lee, sarah, junbug, john wayne, peewee,…and i could go on. But if i said some of the nick names someone would pass out cryin…

most south african women i know dont like cow feet…..
thats a man delicacy coz we know its value..we pride in cooking the dish ourselves too,if a woman touches it,its like it looses its value…just as we dont allow our womenfolk to prep the cow bull Balls…..
We just unleash the side effect on our women to enjoy

Nothing wrong with both of us staying in the FZ having lunch.
and
he pulled up in a shiny black Honda Accord that appeard spit shining clean inside and out
okay, for that first statement, if that’s true then you wouln’t have recognized the limp and him being a noodle. it wouldn’t have phased you at all if it was strickly platonic or if you didn’t hope/wish a bit if things could progress. just saying
on the honda comment. i would have gone back in the buiding. i remember asking this guy i dated (looking for a new car) if he’d checked out any honda and he looked as if i’d grown 2 heads. that is soooo a girl car. uh uh, no way hosea. then an old cat at that. that is if it’s anything more and slightly passed the FZ. just sayin

@2c ~ I listen to people grumble about their divorce and the pain and suffering and then I look at myself. Sometimes I felt something may have been wrong with me because ever since my divorce I’ve been smiling, feeling good about things and working on me getting back to ME. I never quibbled or pined over “what ifs.” For me not doing so, I thought perhaps I was a selfish, callous woman. I had to question why I was so cold and this divorce was one of the best thing that happened to me.

Speaking of Cow Melo (I’ma ignore that last part) I went to Chicago this past weekend and had a bomb corned beef sandwich.

Yes, it was a long time coming so I was so over it by the time I opened my mouth to say. I was not involved with anyone either at the end. I didn’t think it would be fair to the new person, so I waited until that door was firmly closed and my business taken care of. Reconcile? No, can’t even imagine it.

I know what you mean. I don’t even care to talk about my ex and what went wrong, I took what I learned from it and moved on. Some people still, still talk about an ex like it was just yesterday and its been like 10+ years. WOW!
Some think because I don’t sit around expounded on the marriage that I’m hiding something. Well, no it’s just not important in the here and now. Let’s concentrate on us babe!

why when a lady is confident enough to share where she is with her guy it comes across as her being ostentatious about it? i truly adore being able to share him with you on that level though.
