Sometimes I marvel at the fact that we singles even manage to make it to the first date. Some of us get up hung up in the approach, showing interest, and determining compatibility part that comes with dating. I think a lot of times we take it way too seriously, pretty much sucking the fun part out of the whole process.
Keeping it simple is virtually impossible. I know women have a tendency to complicate matters when they shouldn’t be, but I have met and dated men who do the same thing. Is it so hard to play it cool until things develop?
There is nothing wrong with being excited about spotting someone you want to get to know more. However, acting desperately can be a real turn off. Nobody likes it when people come on too strong. How do you handle it when someone is a little over the top in pursuing you? Do you find it flattering, annoying, or are you confused by it?
If someone you are interested in seems to be playing it cool, do you take it as a sing of disinterest and back off altogether? Have you ever met someone who was giving you that oh so lovely “mixed signals” making it difficult to determine what they want?

I go home every 2 years. I just can’t handle those cold a$$ winters. I know this isn’t right by any stretch of the imagination, but I haven’t been home for Thanksgiving since I left. Mama and I are very close and she has come here to see me, but my siblings and I could really care less about each other. Well, that’s how it has always appeared to me. You can’t choose your family. I do go for Christmas every so often, but really winter and I are arch enemies! No, please don’t call a psychotherapist for me. Basically, I’m good!

Dream,
I am in a pickle with this one. I have a relative that owes me money although I would like to see her at the family gathering if she is bringing my money
, otherwise she can keep her goofy looking azz home. So with that said I did not invite her to my house.

Mo/Dream,
I saw this little girl once just as cute as she could be at the salon around four years old. Her mother had the stylist to give her a perm and she had them to add some hair to her ponytails when the stylist did the baby doll curls….too much!

Leggs I can see that. I see my baby brother the most because he comes down several times a year. I talk to my father maybe twice a week. There is no grave dislike between all of us but they like it up there and I like it down here.
As I stated earlier, once they all left and went north my friends became my family. I do more with them than my actual family. But it’s all good.
My sister is supposed to be coming at Christmas. It will be nice to she her but if she doesn’t come it will be okay too. I haven’t seen my oldest brother in almost 4 years. We talk maybe twice a month just to check on each other. However he is my goto when I need some “people” advice.
You all have a good evening. Bundle up in the morning, it’s supposed to be a cold one.

I do not like seeing little girls with all those beads in their hair. Just something I never liked and always wondered how they slept with all that clanging on the pillows. 3-2 beads at the end of the braid (of her own hair) is fine.

It is difficult to overlook her when begs for what she needs and buy what she wants. The sight of her makes me SICK, so that is why we will not be in the same place…simply put she is not welcomed in my home.
I wish I was a big girl and could overlook her and have fun, but I cannot see her big, rusty azz feet sitting at my table.
