Horrors of Dating: Karma
Do you ever hear of those urban relationship myths that talk about couples who get together while one of them was already in a relationship? They will be destined for failure because there has to be some retribution for the way they hooked up! I don’t know if that is because of some cosmic force or if it’s simply because the wrong people are getting in relationships.
Do you believe in dating karma? I have to admit, if I am sitting through some horrendous date being tortured by bad attitudes or boring men, I wonder if it’s payback. Did I do something in my dating past that is coming back to haunt me now? Who knows if karma really exists or if it is just our way of trying to make sense of things.
Have you ever made a dating mistake or committed some romantic crime that would result in some bad karma?
Do you think we should ever try to make amends and apologize to the ones we did wrong? Not only to ensure that karma loses our address, but to let the other person know we regretted it?
What about break up karma? Do you think leading someone on, pulling a disappearing act, or the jedi mind tricks comes back around?

I know it’s just sitcom television therefore fiction however I thought it to be a pretty good storyline….
The other night I was watching a George Lopez rerun and George was complaining because his wife “needs” to talk or discuss everything. He and buddy were talking and the buddy agreeing mentioned that the issue they were bothered by makes being gay seems very desirable. That way they would not have deal with the heart, needs and emotions that women have. That need to talk about things. They could be two men that think alike, act alike, and get along very well. None of the emotional lovey dovey stuff.
During the conversation George was drinking some tequila and he swallowed the worm. The worm made him begin to hallucinate. He began to imagine he and his buddy was a couple. The perfect couple. No “woman” issues to deal with. Well George encountered a problem at work but when he tried to talk to his like mate about it, he got a man’s response. i.e. “I’m watching the game, don’t bother me with your problems”. The woman that plays his wife was the house lady during his hallucination and she as a woman was willing to listen to his problem. He soon realized he indeed needed the heart, nurturing and care that woman have to offer.
Being with a like mate was not all it seemed it would be. They were too much alike.
All that to say, BALANCE. That is what men and women give each other. That balance.

A female co-worker won as Michael Jackson, and she deserved it. She even did something to her nose to reflect all the surgeries. She nailed it. Lots liked my look, and we had to parade around the tables for votes. I was told by one of the board members that I didn’t “strut” long enuf. I didn’t prance around as long as I should have because I knew most wanted me to. All these old farts from Rabun County, Elberton, South Ga, etc. Hell to da NO!! Will send pics when I get them

Ahhh, costumes galor. Coming back in from lunch, there was a lady downstairs with a cheerleader’s outfit on. Now while that’s not over the top or strangely odd, me and another chick had eye contact and burst into laughter. Can’t explain. Just seemed too old that for sort of get up. But again, it could just be me…bwah ha ha ha

Wise – F20 doesn’t have the buffet like Sweet Tomatoes. It’s more expensive but I love their salads. Never had anything else. Sweet Tomatoes is my spot too.
SCool – I feel the same way. I tried my best to get out of the bed this morning to workout. Didn’t happen.
