Horrors of Dating: Karma
Do you ever hear of those urban relationship myths that talk about couples who get together while one of them was already in a relationship? They will be destined for failure because there has to be some retribution for the way they hooked up! I don’t know if that is because of some cosmic force or if it’s simply because the wrong people are getting in relationships.
Do you believe in dating karma? I have to admit, if I am sitting through some horrendous date being tortured by bad attitudes or boring men, I wonder if it’s payback. Did I do something in my dating past that is coming back to haunt me now? Who knows if karma really exists or if it is just our way of trying to make sense of things.
Have you ever made a dating mistake or committed some romantic crime that would result in some bad karma?
Do you think we should ever try to make amends and apologize to the ones we did wrong? Not only to ensure that karma loses our address, but to let the other person know we regretted it?
What about break up karma? Do you think leading someone on, pulling a disappearing act, or the jedi mind tricks comes back around?

The teachers fighting in Clayton County are named Chaka and Ebony.
They sound like they’re some young guuls….and they’re in charge of teaching our youth. That’s probably why Clay co’s school system is a laughing stock. My issue is why the hell are they fighting each other and not ganging up on dude….and NO I’M NOT ADVOCATING VIOLENCE but it just seems as though they would deal with him instead of embarrassing themselves….now errbody knows they stupid and got played. And the dude they fightin’ over probably has a lady and it’s NEITHER ON OF THEM.

Okay I know how some folks feel about Oprah..but I think I am going to buy her new bookclub selection. (That’s two Oprah book club books in two years..) I just read the most beautiful saying from the author of Say You’re One of Them.. “No matter how high the bird flies, its legs still face the earth.” I think I am going to marinate on that for a while. I don’t believe in “karma”…not getting religious or anything, it’s just that I believe that if bad stuff happens in past relationships (and I’ve definitely caused my fair share of problems in the past) then you either learn from those mistakes or you’ll end up repeating them. We try to overthink when bad things happen in relationships that, “this must be the universe causing payback”. I’ve asked for (and received) forgiveness for past screw-ups and I’ve been on a wonderful relationship with a wonderful woman, going into our first year this weekend!

Yes, I believe in dating karma…I was engaged to a guy I met on Match.com (probably my first mistake). While I was working out of town I found out he was hooking up with others at happy hour, etc. (You know who you are!) That next year I heard he lost his job. Not sure about his dating life (and could care less). I went on to meet a great guy and we’ve been together 5 years. Live and learn…

Yeah. The renters who were taken set up THEIR OWN STING on o’girl. Channel 2 was there with cameras and caught the struggle and the mad dash and AIRED it. I HOLLERED!!!!
I hollered again when the police caught her and she was getting ready to give up her ‘partner’. She was crying. “He made me do it. I’ll tell y’all his name. I’ll show ya’ where he stay.”
Then, I hollered ONE MORE TIME, when the reporter said that after the police got her in the squad car, she calmed down and denied EVERYthing.

Well, the houses that they showed had the realtors boxes on them. Maybe she had a realtor’s key and was showing houses like that. And then giving the gypped people fake keys later.
I wouldn’t rent from an unknown private party – especially one that they are still paying a mortgage on. I would be in jail on some serious assault/attempted murder charges if one day, I came home and found what’s left of my ish on the lawn after being evicted cause THEY didn’t pay the mortgage although I paid the rent. I’ve heard too many horror stories.

SexyCool, one renter drove down from Maryland, I think, so she had sent money site unseen.
I am with you on the not renting a house that still has a mortgage. I listen to Dave Ramsey sometimes and I have heard a few callers call in about finding out the house they are renting is in foreclosure or has been foreclosed on. I tell you, you have to be careful.

…stepping in for just a minute. Y’all I have been working hard these past two days. Whoa I was not made for all this work.
Anyway…fighting over a man is stupid and I include verbal arguments in that statement as well. Too many women think it is cool that mess is not cute especially at work.
