Small Gesture, Big Return
One of the things I dislike about being single and unattached is the lack of romance. Guys can be very light on the romance in the beginning! Especially when they are trying to figure out if you aren’t a gold digger, floozie, or some awful puppy-kicking person.
When the romantic gestures finally arrive, in whatever shape, form, or fashion, I’m ready for it. I don’t think romance is always like the romance novels or movie love kind of romance. I have always found that the little things you do or say can offer the biggest romantic returns.
My most romantic moments would probably not even measure high on anyone’s Romantic Richter scale. To me, however, I really felt something and was moved, and in some instances, shaken!
I always find it really interesting how differently men and women can view romance, though. So, let’s try a little experiment:
List at least five romantic things you want to do for the person you are dating now. If you aren’t seeing anyone, imagine what you would do if you met someone you felt really connected to.
Then list five romantic gestures that you would want done for you.
Ladies, let the men know what their romantic gesture would measure on the Romance Richter scale.
Guys, let us know the same. Do you think women have a hard time romancing you? Could it be that we just don’t know what romance is your book? Do you even need romance when you are dating?
Do you think that your romantic gestures would be well-received? Will the person be able to tell that it was a romantic gesture? Does it count if they don’t?
I am curious to see if we sometimes miss the small gestures of romance because we view romance so differently!

Professor – I LOVE Oh the Places You Will Go! Since I have Lil Mo, I have rekindled my love for Dr Seuss (Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs ‘n’ Ham, 1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, etc). Plus one year I helped my sister make green eggs and ham for her kindergarten class, she had read the book to them

I have a full collection of Dr. Suess books that I bought for the grandbabe. Now Mase reads Green eggs and ham to the baby.
I bought the grandbabe the Cat In the Hat movie and I find us watching it everytime he is at the house. That and Happy Feet.

Dream_n of the things that I mentioned in my first post I asked one of the gentlemen that works with me which would he find romantic from his wife. He said trimming the whiskers and buttoning his shirt.
I have heard before where guys think their woman shaving or shaping them is romantic and sexy. My husband has never really said whether it’s romantic/sexy to him or not. He just allows me to do it.

Talking of Small gestrures:
an unexpected text to a cobweb infested flame of urs, while shes at wrk,saying sme like,”babe, i be over tonite” may be jus enough to soil her pants and be viewed as romantic…by her.
All this small gestures stuff has a lot to do with where a woman is,mentally and sexually.
One of my signature moves while still a bachelor was to buy a “current” interest, a sexxy set or 2 of underwear(matching bra and honey holder)
esp. and be4 i extended the hand of friendship.
Small thing…?? but Big thing coz they wld be ready to invite themselves over for an extended weekend stay.
When ur gift makes a woman start seeing and conjuring images in her lil brain,u know u have scored big time!(sex,kids,husband,trip tgether,nakked,arm in arm…..??)
