Blame Angelina Jolie
There has been actual research on so-called “mate poaching”. They found out that a lot of single women aren’t exactly hunting for other singles. Sometimes, they look for the coupled up men and “poach” them away from their current relationship. It’s like the Angelina Jolie syndrome because she supposedly began a relationship with Brad Pitt while he was married.
The results of the research: “Single women were more interested in the man when he was described as attached (90% interested) than when he was described as single (59%). Men showed no difference in interest between a single and attached woman.”
The thing about these studies is that don’t leave much room for the variables. It’s interesting nonetheless, to see the “scientific” analysis about why women are attracted to men who aren’t available. What are your thoughts?
When you meet someone you are attracted to, is it more appealing when you find out a person is involved with someone already? Have you ever pursued someone who had a significant other?
Have you ever been involved with someone and met somebody else that you felt you was the person you were meant to be with? How do you tell the person you are in a relationship that you are in love with another person?

Have been unknowingly placed in a poaching situation – being younger and dumber and with many lessons to learn (and I am still learning), there were signs I should have paid attention to but didn’t.
By the end, I would have gladly returned that dog to its previous owner.

MsMain – I liked Brad, still will probably watch his movies. But with all the good he has done and is still doing, he is starting to come off as sort of a jerk. He’s been on a few talk shows talking about how he does not believe in God, is an atheist. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but he bragging about it. I just watched him and thought, he might be a real B to live with, probably did Jen a favor. Everybody kept talking about how Jen WOULDN’T give him a baby. I heard they had been trying but it just had not happened yet. That’s no reason to cheat, though. If she didn’t want to have one, that should have been worked out before they got married. But hey, what do I know?LOL!!

Brad and Jennifer got divorced in October 2005.
Brad adopted Zahara Angelina’s daughter in January 2006.

Dang – just when I thought we would get through a day without this W8 drama…. oh well.
Kym – he did make some moves in the FF league, so he hasn’t dropped off the face of the earth. Speaking of, I need to do my update for the week.
As far as Brad – I try to separate the entertainment from the personal. Unless the person is doing something heinous like molesting children, beating up on the women, etc, I will view them as entertainment. If I were to stop watching movies, shows, etc because someone committed adultery or didn’t share my spiritual beliefs I’d have to just resort to reading books…and then my book selection would be limited.
