There has been actual research on so-called “mate poaching”. They found out that a lot of single women aren’t exactly hunting for other singles. Sometimes, they look for the coupled up men and “poach” them away from their current relationship. It’s like the Angelina Jolie syndrome because she supposedly began a relationship with Brad Pitt while he was married.
The results of the research: “Single women were more interested in the man when he was described as attached (90% interested) than when he was described as single (59%). Men showed no difference in interest between a single and attached woman.”
The thing about these studies is that don’t leave much room for the variables. It’s interesting nonetheless, to see the “scientific” analysis about why women are attracted to men who aren’t available. What are your thoughts?
When you meet someone you are attracted to, is it more appealing when you find out a person is involved with someone already? Have you ever pursued someone who had a significant other?
Have you ever been involved with someone and met somebody else that you felt you was the person you were meant to be with? How do you tell the person you are in a relationship that you are in love with another person?

Angelina Jolie is not your escape goat ladies! This very common with women in general these days, I thinks it because women see another woman having something special (or the man) and just want to screw things up for both parties. It’s like they think “Well if I can’t have The Life then no one can” this is very common with the lady friends I have, because one thinks the other is out doing the other and they get salty about it.
But when it boils down to it they know I want nothing to do with them in that way anyway. As I have said before I don’t date anymore for various reasons but I have to admit it is rather entertaining watching these women fight each other about it especially when it’s a lose/lose situation. I guess they think they can change my mind or prove me wrong, well the jokes on them. It’s funny when you don’t anything they ignore you but when you become successful and are worth something, it’s like oh you remember me let’s get it on. You had your chance ishes now you can sit and drool at window at something you can’t have now, oh that gets women every time! Women = Salt Shakers

Because you and I both know yall walked right into it with both eyes opened and all dude had to do was ask (apparently). With ya silly looking selves. It was a good thing she was able to open her heart to someone
that kinda made me think of my auntie,my mom sister.
she grew up a goo kid,str8 As at school and then came to the big city and got ngaged by a good for nothing crook, just the same kinda profile painted of W8,unemployed,smooth,good dresser(nit wally mally tho) and a piner for puddsy. She gave it away hoping it was gon smewhere untill sherealized it was no goood and her sister advised her to get an abortion. It was a back door abortion coz they are illegal over there and til now,the aunt has no kids altho married.
This story kinda broght it home 4 me.
I hope nobody,if really phlucked by crook dude, got any disease for the road!

Compelling IMO I can’t let anything that a stranger says to me go to my head. This blog is a tool I use to get through my day. I come here to talk, laugh, shoot the breeze, and talk about situations. I know who I am, I know who my friends are, I know where my family is. I hardly put any stock into what others think of me, I could care less. Yeah all that went down was pretty messed up, but as an adult, OWN IT and keep it movin’.
Cosign Cosign and Cosign.
I personally don’t know anyone on here, I’ll share what I think is “shareable” but I’m not divulging what I deem intimate life details. Life’s lessons? Yeah but that’ about it. I don’t want to see anyone physically harmed but stuff happens. I know for certain I’ve not lost touch with humanity but real life is real life. It just ain’t reality to come on here day after day with just alllll sweetness. Slanging bullcrap ain’t either but it’s more in touch with the way the real world evolves. I notice some days if the discussion is heated some folks get gone and on other days if we’re talking hair pressing, nails, food, weight, great entertainers, great loves….and stuff…those folks are in full attendance. Nothing wrong with that but it’s just not reality if you think you’re gonna hop on here and it’s all kumbaya…on the daily. Everyday there are battle scars, whether it’s love, money, family, etc. We’re all adults and by now have experienced or should have experienced enough to be thick skinned to hone in or endure conversations, giving real opinions without having to walk on eggshells.

COMPELLING I have invented everything from DVR when I missed my soaps during highschool cuz I didn’t have a VHS tape to mini cans of Coke (which studies have actually been conducted on the world enjoying most with pizza) since I rarely drink 12 ounces to cellpnes with text back when my Skypager went off but I didn’t have change for the pay phones. We should be rich!
RAQI Maybe I shoulda majored in Marketing cuz I think it was the name that helped the other folks eclipse him. It came from the idea of a blanket with sleeves. But Snuggie just sounds friendlier and makes ya wanna curl up in it.
CEE Ain’t nobody gonnaa let you have Green Tea Fuse with that mushroom n pepper slice. And sound like schoolgirl took some truth serum tryna tattle. On self. We gon skip past Anutha and go straight to Futha….
