I read somewhere that every healthy relationship has boundaries. That invisible line in the sand that you would never cross, under no circumstances. Riddle me this, what happens to the boundaries when you are in love? Why is it that otherwise normal people toss out their logic and reasoning when they are head over heels?
It’s like being caught up in “the haze of love” completely blinds one to their boundaries. The next thing you know, you are hacking email accounts, looking at text messages, or something equally psycho. Would you be able to get past your date’s behavior if they crossed your relationship boundaries? Did you regret it?
My friend Paul said that he once forgave a young lady for looking through the photos on his laptop without asking. That was just one sign of how nosy and insecure she was about his female friends. They dated for a while but he thinks that the photo thing was a red flag that he ignored.
Have you ever crossed the line with someone you were dating? Did they give you another chance?
My friend D. Young coined the term relationship boiling points, recently. Those things that can send you over the edge. I can think of a couple that a guy would never recover from. Then there are the ones that can be dealt with and I can be won over again. After a little begging and a trip to the Apple store or something!
What are your relationship boiling points?

abc????!!
did u read about auto nation’s CEO on cnbc this morning?
the cash for clunker program is helping some companies stay open coz its pushing their inventories.
Capitalism is not perfect! uall need to stop reading the repgs talking points.
China passed a bigger bailout than evebody else and the asian economies are roaring. They are at it again, buying up all the american debt.
I support that clunker program, the money went out in one week and it shows, folks are paying attn.Businessess are loving it and so are the consumers.
As for freabies, boy or boy, there are lots of goodies being dished out to companies everytime coz of lobying etc farmers, insurance companies, drug companies, exporters etc and way be4 Obama took office, mind u!! US capitalism is rife/loaded/bloated with subsidies financed by taxpayers so i dont know/understand why abc is whining……….nor why the Repugs want to make it a big deal this time.
Lets leave Obama to shine and cure this Bush economic mess he inherited!

@Kimmie, that’s my point with the blueprint. She dictated how he could treat her and stayed all these years. However, you’re right. If she plays her cards right and has a stash, more power to her. And the fact that her name isn’t on anything is her “silving lining” in this mess. You’re absolutely right!

CAN..WTH??? where you at Frat???
WHat up ya? Boundaries yes well everyone needs them in relationships. For me blatant disrespect, abuse of any kind and all around the basics..if you don’t get it? I can advise of you of what I expect and Visa vei..we agree or not and if not we keeps it moving very simple. Love doesn’t blind me at this age I don’t have the energy, motivation or time to be playing around with some womans son who has no clue even after I give him one. Too many fish in the sea..and that real!

Mo – I think that happens to a lot of folks, when it comes to cooking huge meals at big gatherings.
And Demi – Yeah, you may be on to something. The aroma can be overwhelming enough to convince you that you’re indeed full.
MyTwo – Yeah, you can just smell the rain comin’…and don’t worry, sis has a firm grip on those charms, while putting the killswitch on what was “untameable”. I’m a pro! LOL
Btw, and on another note, I cried again watching that movie last night.
Well, let me get on down the road. The girls are having a recital tonight. 2-3 hours long, I’m guess-timating. And I’ll make sure to remind them that Aunt MyTwo says: “Break a leg & don’t ya’ll embarrass “us” now” ! LOL
You all have yourselves some restful weekends!

I don’t really look at things in terms of Repub and Dem. Too many get caught up in allegiances. Either one will drop a dollar on the ground and when an American bends down to it they get screwed by either a donkey or elephant.
As for capitalism, it is the antithesis of Christianity. It feeds off of greed, which is one of the 7 deadly sins. So, there is no way for it to be perfect.

Telling a dude and making demands/request after 26 non-married years of tolerating less than stellar treatment carries no weight at all. After 26 years, more than likely the them is “you can go or stay, it’s on you”

u know purists (capitalists) say that the economy cures itslef. That the market is perfect(from an economic standpoint) and that it weeds losers(inefficient players) and rewards those who are efficient coz,as they say,the playing field is level,no arbitrage coz info is freely available. In reality,BULLCRAP!!
I was speaking about “perfect” in that economic sense.
As we now know or proly do,the markets aint perfect, big playas have leverage over small ones, insider trading is rampant, capitalism goes in cycles, peaks and valleys and eve 5 or so yrs,its needs help from the policy makers.

Leggs and you know I’m not knocking her but I just don’t see some things…gheesh. I mean we’ve all either had our fair share of being on the bottom in a situation or will have, because that’s just life but only so many times are allowed in each age bracket. You living with someone, Imma give you the benefit of the doubt and say you moved in at 18, that’s what 44 years old, if that. Uh uh, you gets no sympathy because that number should have taught a few things by now. I wouldn’t stay anywhere that long but for the sake of love, let’s say you stay 3 years….no results…I would be so ghost. Unless we’re moving towards a goal and the can see some results in being together that long with no concrete underneath me, I’m soooo out. My uncle use to say (not that everybody lives by this), after two years, a man pretty much knows what he wants to do. He said, heck before then but give him to to give him the benefit of the doubt.
