Crossed the Line, Now What?

I read somewhere that every healthy relationship has boundaries. That invisible line in the sand that you would never cross, under no circumstances. Riddle me this, what happens to the boundaries when you are in love? Why is it that otherwise normal people toss out their logic and reasoning when they are head over heels?

It’s like being caught up in “the haze of love” completely blinds one to their boundaries. The next thing you know, you are hacking email accounts, looking at text messages, or something equally psycho. Would you be able to get past your date’s behavior if they crossed your relationship boundaries? Did you regret it?

My friend Paul said that he once forgave a young lady for looking through the photos on his laptop without asking. That was just one sign of how nosy and insecure she was about his female friends. They dated for a while but he thinks that the photo thing was a red flag that he ignored.

Have you ever crossed the line with someone you were dating? Did they give you another chance?

My friend D. Young coined the term relationship boiling points, recently.  Those things that can send you over the edge. I can think of a couple that a guy would never recover from. Then there are the ones that can be dealt with and I can be won over again. After a little begging and a trip to the Apple store or something!

What are your relationship boiling points?

The thing that gets me about on friend in particular is we all have the “respect my house, don’t call too late” understanding. But she will call because she really does need something yet say never mind.

Heifer you called my house at 2am, now speak up. What’s ailing you?

She has done this like twice…but still.

Momma did just call me though. all loud…

SexyCool You be in your own world, and is not really moved by things/folk around you. …I can dig it…

My mom is OCD too. If you drink water out of a glass, you HAVE to wash it as soon as you finish. Mom wants her bathroom spotless at all times, no soap left on the shower curtian. She likes pillows fluffed everytime you make up bed, she like vacuum marks on the floor after vacuuming.Had to dry the dishes after everywash and put them away.

Whew..i’m so glad i do my own thing now that i’m grown. Some of that stuff i let ride.

Afternoon Folks! TGIF!!!! good points to most of the post, I would like to add that for me crossing the line comes into play when you do something I didn’t ask of you without getting my opionion/go ahead first, sometimes it could be the simpliest thing.

I love watching reality shows even though I don’t think it’s much reality but as close as it gets, I’ve started watching the T.O. show, I’m thinking that Akita has a crush on T.O. the way she looks at him make me say hmmmmmm

Mase was talking in his sleep the other night. He was saying “Eddie give me my money. I got a wife and kids to feed I want my money”

The next morning I asked him how much did Eddie owe, he looked at me amazed and asked how do you know he owes me money.

Would listening to a sleeping talker be considered as eavesdropping or snooping? LOL I kid.

Little known fact(and its really not a secret..almost all high level criminals know this)..even if you take the battery out of a cell phone..they all still have an internal battery in them…also if you have a cell phone that is on tmobile,att,sprint/nextel or verizon…it can be turned into a listening device “bug” without the owner even knowing…even if you turn it off…just keeping you in the know..lol…but we can’t listen in on criket and metro phones or any other pre-paid for that matter.

In fact I am against loaning anything except money. If you like my jacket I will give it to you before I loan it.

I used to loan stuff and yep Cemeeli, not get it back. Then to see that person wearing it two months later in front of you acting like it don’t even belong to you. Folks will lie when questioned and say they bought it knowing good and well the borrowed it from you.

But get this, I let a lady a work borrow a CD and she never gave it back. One day at her desk I asked her for my CD back that she had right there on her desk and she tells me ‘this ain’t yours, I lost yours. This is mine. I just bought it.’

Off topic,

Now, what is up with extending yet more billions in tax money into something as stupid as Cash for Clunkers?! Dayum thing ran for a week, depleted funds even though it was supposed to last through October, so they allocate 3 times the original sum?! And the President is ‘pleased’?!?!

What an international embarassment. America: Land of the Free (handout), home of the weenie beggars. Friggin Congress should start to go by the name “Robin Hood”. Like I want my taxes to pay for people to get new cars, gimme a dayum break.

abc your comment made me think about one time I was in Finish Line with my son getting him some shoes for soccer and noticed the shoe bin at the counter. You can give your olds shoes for charity. There was a pair of shoes in there so raggedy the person giving them should have been embarrassed. If I was working there I would tell some of those people “nah that’s okay never mind you can keep those.” In other words “take that raggedy shyt somewhere. Can’t nobody where.”
