Crossed the Line, Now What?
I read somewhere that every healthy relationship has boundaries. That invisible line in the sand that you would never cross, under no circumstances. Riddle me this, what happens to the boundaries when you are in love? Why is it that otherwise normal people toss out their logic and reasoning when they are head over heels?
It’s like being caught up in “the haze of love” completely blinds one to their boundaries. The next thing you know, you are hacking email accounts, looking at text messages, or something equally psycho. Would you be able to get past your date’s behavior if they crossed your relationship boundaries? Did you regret it?
My friend Paul said that he once forgave a young lady for looking through the photos on his laptop without asking. That was just one sign of how nosy and insecure she was about his female friends. They dated for a while but he thinks that the photo thing was a red flag that he ignored.
Have you ever crossed the line with someone you were dating? Did they give you another chance?
My friend D. Young coined the term relationship boiling points, recently. Those things that can send you over the edge. I can think of a couple that a guy would never recover from. Then there are the ones that can be dealt with and I can be won over again. After a little begging and a trip to the Apple store or something!

this is not psycho behavior!!! lol. this action is called for when your SO gives you a reason. if you suspect something, don’t leave him/the relationship until you are absolutely positive that he is guilty of doing wrong. so if it takes snooping to get to the truth, do it!
before i left my 8 yr relationship, my home, took my boys away from their father, i made DAYUM SURE that he was guilty of cheating. i hacked his email, i spoke to some of the women that were saved in his phone, and i heard it from his mouth *they don’t mean anything*.
all i’m saying is that it doesn’t matter how long y’all been together, before you leave a good thang (so you thought) find out first. get the evidence you need to back it up so it will help you LIVE & LEARN.

I read the early stuff like Drawing Blood and Lost Souls.
I go through cycles of genres. Lately, I’ve been on a James Patterson kick. I like the Alex Cross series,and the Women’s Murder Club series (the show sucked donkey peckers, though). I read his book “The Quickie” this summer.

Weight, Mason likes to watch Deadliest Catch. He also likes Dirtiest Jobs and Cash Cab. We are supposed to be going to NYC next month and he says we wants (rather hopes) to get on Cash Cab.

Shows I like to catch…
Top Chef, Project Runway, Fashion Show, Iron Chef America, Curb Appeal, Design Star, Amazing Race, How it’s made, America’s Got Talent…
All of those when I think about it in addition to Private Practice and The Big Bang Theory. I caught an episode of the New Adventures of Old Christine the night and wondered why I have not been watching that show.
Crossing the line used to be recording over my favorite shows but now thank the Almighty for DVRs. Now erasing one of my favorites might get you a bowl of Alpo for a week. LOL

Deadliest Catch is so serious.
Those men are out there for months, so long from home like soilders.
The episode when the guy found out he had lung cancer and was rushed to the hospital, and his buddy had to man the ship. Buddy was kinda scared, you can tell. I felt bad for the captian.

@Cee- after watching the behind the scenes I found out that they are not out at sea for really that long at all..just the way its filmed makes it seem like it. So they go crabbing..fill up come back for a day or two then head back out. They are several crab seasons in a year Opilio and King Crab on the show the Deadliest Catch both season are regulated by the Alaskan Fish and Game they set the mark on how much crab can be caught in a season King Crab is from October to November and Opilio is in January. Some seasons may very and depend upon the weather on the Bering Sea some can last for 5 days to 2 months and depending on the ships quota for the season I believe last years Opilio Crab Season was 250 Million Pounds with a fleet of 86 ships the season can end quick because each ship can hold between 180 to 200 crab pots. During a season if the boat reach maximum load they either can head to Dutch Harbor or St. Paul to offload their first catch and go back out to more before the season is done.

@Cee- I am usually up all night so I just flipped on Whale Wars..and got hooked..those fools dont even get paid..running around chasing ships..ramming them getting rammed…trying to do clandestine moves to break the props of the whalers..etc…I love it

On Deadliest Catch,…i figured they go back to dock several times….all those crabs bins get full, overly full at somepoint. Some of the boats get 400,000+ count of crab…

I am not one for having to be up on all the latest ballings, hitting up all the latest raved club scenes, rubbing shoulders with B-list celebs. I don’t need all of that to have an enjoyable life
I was just telling the kid in the car this morning, that sort of mentality means nothing. When it’s all said and done status, money, cars, balling, clubbing doesn’t mean anything and really is not what “living” is about. I told her, make the best life she can make, be happy and content with her station. If her station can be improved (as always), do the needful and grow. More than anything, I want her to know there’s an account to be taken for what we do while we’re here and she will, as I and all others, will have to answer that call.
