Everything Old Is New Again
The results of the Great Male Survey 2009 from Askmen.com are in. I eagerly anticipate this each year (no sarcasm, really) because it’s like getting a small peek into a cross-section of men that are in my dating pool. From what I can tell, modern men are still big on tradition: “When it comes to the romantic front, everything old is new again” I feel that this is a great thing to hear, for the most part. That doesn’t mean I don’t struggle with some of the ideas that come with that though.
The Dating & Sex part of the survey had a lot of great questions. I would be interested to hear some of our male readers to respond to the first five: Do you believe that you have a soul mate? What is the most important personality trait that makes a woman “relationship material”? Is it important for a girlfriend to have “wife potential”? Do you believe in marriage? How important is it to you for your future wife to sign a prenup?
Ladies, the Great Female Survey was given by Yahoo’s female portal, Shine. Same questions for you: Do you believe that you have a soul mate? What is the most important personality trait that makes a man “relationship material”? Is it important for a boyfriend to have “husband potential”? Do you believe in marriage? Do you want your future husband to sign a prenup? Would you sign one?
Some of the numbers surprised me, what do you think about the responses?

Lmao! @ <strongKimmie! – I remember you mentioning her bougie a$$. But again, that’s not what I’m saying…again, I’m saying that Florida being part of the south is not it’s entire makeup overall because of it’s diversity, background…there’s are so many other cultures/origins that contribute to it’s history…beginning with the native americans and spanish.
However, I’m proud to admit I’m kuntry when it comes to my background and kinfolk, but there are also other ethnicities floatin’ around in my genes as well. Actually, I’m still piecing it together with all of the questions that I ask. Lol…so my lil’ talkative self gets answers when there’s a need, however…it doesn’t mean that I don’t know when to hush up! Lol
Now…as for this list and anyone (preferrably the blogladies) feel free to correct me if I am wrong with my findings). Now who should we start with, cuz by the way…there were over 30 of these mofos (blogmen) once I made my list. However, some will be left out…now who? Let’s see…

Cee – I got some friends from college & their families coming over tomorrow. I making two pasta dishes – some spaghetti with beef & turkey sausage – sauce is simmering on the stove now. The other is a shrimp pesto pasta dish. Zuchini cassarole with zuchini & tomatoes fresh from the garden, big salad & breadsticks!

Judge Judy is on the air giving away the female game. This guy is suing his ex girlfriend but claiming he did say and/or do certain things. This woman pulls out old letters and cards that he had given her. Judge Judy told him we women save everything. The good, the bad and in between. Anything and everything that we feel we could possibly use to prove our point or to get back at you we save.
LOL Mason told me once “Woman you don’t forget nothing”. If you don’t mean it or you think it can be used against you in the future don’t say it.

Yall know that health reform legislation will not be passed. It’s been a topic since Truman, over 50 years ago. It just ain’t gonna happen, especially the way it’s been introduced this time around. Darn shame, though. We need health care reform, just not like this.
