Not new to this
Single people can be a creative bunch. We come up with the most unique excuses reasons not to date someone. I’m talking about the “relationship resume” that some people prefer to be long, detailed, and has proof of commitment. You say you are a good candidate? We’re going to need references!
While some prefer not to date a previously married person, others would just like someone who is not new to the relationship thing. I can admit that dating someone with no real relationship experience can be challenging.
You may have to become a virtual relationship guide and exercise a little more patience. It’s not necessarily impossible to do but I am pretty sure the inexperienced person would have to put up with something too. That’s why it’s called a relationship.
Do you think those post high school and college relationships really make a big difference in our relationship resume? What do you think is important in a person’s dating history?
What was the relationship from your past that you think helped make you a better person?
Which one do you think actually created some emotional baggage for you?
Would it bother you if you were dating someone who has never had a long-term relationship before?

My daughter asked if I was going to watch the new reality show with Tiny and whatever the other girl’s name is. Said some train wrecks I don’t mind watching, but this show won’t be one of them. Can’t stand Tiny’s voice!

What did y’all want Joe to do? Be in the audience as an bawling emotional wreck? To prove that he is sad? I thought he showed grace under pressure, given the situation.
And I agree, w8 – seeing Janet speak was the first real emotion that I attached to MJ’s passing. Seeing someone hurt for a family member brings out my sympathy for the human condition. She looked like an angel.

I like Tiny. Everyone is not up for public speaking. But she does stand by her man.

My personal opinion on Tiny.. I hate the way she talks.. I dont like it when people go out of their way to be ghetto. I cant listen to that all day or for a hour worth of a show. To each his own though.. If you like Ghetto Low Budget chicks then thats ya thang but I like mine to talk like they have some sense. Money cant buy ya class. She rides for TI though and I can love that..

On Joe he still lost a son, we can not judge the words that come out of his mouth no matter what is said..he may not be on point with anything..nobody knows what going on in his mind. Hell he may have just not wanted to answer the question and just put something else out there. Janet was the designated spokes person that night..Dude lost a son..

I didn’t want Joe to DO anything. My thoughts again is that, I am not feeling his presence at such a drivel (to the Jackson’s head honcho) activity.
Showing grace under pressure, and falling out crying are not the non-emtion i mean. If your son died on Thursday, and you’re at a award show on Sunday don’t you think there are more important things to tend too?
I mean not that Mom Jackson was shaking her tail on stage or anything.

@Beautiful- to help you get in the know..Katherine was at home with MJ’s kids and Janet and Joe went to represent for the family and they decided to use BET as the first Media outlet since his death..The Man and his daughter stood in and represented for HIS family. and his mother could not have done a damn thing without Joe

I had no problem with Joe being there. They were doing a tribute to his son and it was nice to have someone there from the family to support. I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to see his mother there sad and crying through the whole thing.
There are issues there. Janet didn’t acknowledge him or ask him to come up on stage. They probably want Joe around as little as possible so send him to the awards show. Clearly he has an ulterior motive for being there anyway.

About Tiny:
She is a very sweet person that has had some set backs in life, a lot of them due to her own choices. But all in all, she’s a nice woman and while I’m mad at the exploitation of the “The Baby Mama’s of Hip-Hop”, I can’t knock her hustle.
I just hope it’s about her and she don’t go peddling those kids.
