Because He Kept Me Off the Pole
Sunday is Father’s Day, a rare day when some men get as good as they give. If you are fortunate enough to have a father that is still here, I urge you to spend time with him. If that is not possible then I think a card or phone call can go a long way!
I am so thankful for my Father, for always being there for me. He has been such a great example of what a good man is. I remember listening to comic Chris Rock joke about being a father to his daughters and the importance of being a good dad: I realize my only job in life is to keep her off the pole. I mean they don’t grade fathers but if your daughter is a stripper you messed up.
I love my Dad because he’s kept me off the pole and kept me from doing outrageous things to a man on a dance floor (I’m still in disbelief, sorry). I love my dad because he is always supportive, loves me unconditionally, and has always been there for me. In a lot of ways, I think he has set the standard for my relationships with men.
Ladies, why do you love your father? What has he taught you about dating, relationships, and men?
If you are dating a single dad, do you plan to celebrate Father’s day with him? Do you show him that you admire him for being a wonderful father?

Dang, the dad haters keep on comin.
I don’t expect to hear from my kids on Sunday. Who knows, maybe they’ll surprise me. Father’s Day isn’t a very big deal; it’s about 10 times (or 100 times) less important than Mother’s Day, for instance. I know my kids get their mom a card because I remind them to do several times, but there’s nobody to remind them about Father’s Day.

Sassy the only other thing we can do is WAIT.
We talked about it months ago and he said he was cool for several reasons. First being he is not a ravenous horn dog that control his desires. Second he helped make this baby. And C he has gone longer than 6 weeks without sex before.
So we wait. But he is thinking about it. LOL

W8 what I have seen and observed about men I could write a freaking book. This behavior has been performed by one as recent as a few days ago..and two others a few months ago. I grow weary. All three are what I like to call users…and since I have a tendancy to be a information source and co-dependant(wanting to help those who need help) I get called upon alot to provide information. Most of the time I do it. I think these last two morons are just trying to keep an information source open at the same time let me know they have someone in their lives. Whateva..I joined the cause to prevent bitchazz behavior so I felt the need to call this one out.

Ok YOu get 24 days for killing a person and two years for killing some dogs.
Mike got 2 years for mainly lying to the feds. They don’t take to kindly to folks lying to them. Look at how they are going after Barry Bonds, and still looking for ways to get Roger Clemens. Sammy Sosa better watchout, too, since he went to capital hill in 2005 and may have lied to Congress (well, Sammy did lie when he said the he needed an interpreter. Dude has been speaking english for years)
Donte did not lie. He assisted in this thing. He was wrong for driving while intoxicated but he tried to help. He actually called 911, and stayed. He didn’t try to deceive. After all, it takes tax payer money to do these investigation. Lying to the feds means that our tax money goes to that.
Also, Don’t forget that Donte has 2 years of house arrest as part of his deal too. His attorney did a heck of job. I’m sure that his auto insurance will pay some if not most of his settlement with the family. I know that my car insurance covers bodily harm to those in accidents.

Girl my hair is nappy today
Cemeeli we were at Scottish Rite Tuesday night and this lady was there with her daughter and granddaughter. Little girl just a few days older than Elizabeth. We were sitting there waiting to be called and I was to the lady and she said her granddaughter had a “nappy rash”. Okay I have heard of nappy. I grew with girls that told about nappy hair. So I looked at the little baby and was thinking her head looks perfectly fine. Very nice clean thick hair. No sign of a rash. I didn’t get it. So she kept talking and I soon figured out she was talking about a diaper rash. In all my 41 years I have never heard of it called nappy rash.
