Because He Kept Me Off the Pole
Sunday is Father’s Day, a rare day when some men get as good as they give. If you are fortunate enough to have a father that is still here, I urge you to spend time with him. If that is not possible then I think a card or phone call can go a long way!
I am so thankful for my Father, for always being there for me. He has been such a great example of what a good man is. I remember listening to comic Chris Rock joke about being a father to his daughters and the importance of being a good dad: I realize my only job in life is to keep her off the pole. I mean they don’t grade fathers but if your daughter is a stripper you messed up.
I love my Dad because he’s kept me off the pole and kept me from doing outrageous things to a man on a dance floor (I’m still in disbelief, sorry). I love my dad because he is always supportive, loves me unconditionally, and has always been there for me. In a lot of ways, I think he has set the standard for my relationships with men.
Ladies, why do you love your father? What has he taught you about dating, relationships, and men?

My own conclusion is a lot of folks post such passive aggressive statements, such as you 3:18, knowing it was triggered by a certian person, but not willing to own up to it.

WD,u want an afternoon joke? well, ima just tell the story:
i was seeing this chic back home 4 a cple of weeks(may be 6),a cpple of months be4 i came over here.I was already dating Queen,she had been here(usa) already and was waiting on me to come over.So i was cheating on her.
So, im messing with this girl but i havnt smashed yet coz i was having a hard time finding a convenient venue.She lived with her parents and i was lodging at some grown folk place,in their cottage.Thing is,they were friends with Queen’s aunt so i cldnt bring her home there.
So i kept promising to smash but neva completed the do.She was feeling me real bad, i cld sense that!!!
Then one friday, i pick her up,tell her,im gonna take her to a motel 6 like spot and we do the do.
I come around to pick her up,we head there, i park the car,go inside to inquire and leave her in the car,they tell me the fee but it was too much for me,my money was kinda short.So i head back in the car to break the news!
She just broke out,crying!
Cldnt take it no more!
I didnt know,sexual angst can be that bad on a woman.

Diva — It’s really all about having the self-confidence to just be yourself. I’m a perfect case-in-point. They don’t come much whiter or goofier than me, but I embrace it & make it work for me.
