In an attempt at full disclosure (sort of) of my dating life, I have to confess that yours truly is dating a younger guy. He is a solid 9 years younger than I am! It started out pretty innocently because I had no idea just how young the guy was until our first date. He just looked my age and I was too distracted by his muscles to card him!
After polling my friends for their opinion (sometimes I live my life by committee), I received some interesting advice. It ranged from “give him a chance” to “why not play a little bit with him”, and not one person advised me against it.
An older woman and younger man relationship can bring it’s own unique set of dating issues. Not to mention how some folks think that younger men date older women because they have “Mommy issues”. What do you think? In your opinion what is the prognosis for such relationships?
Guys, have you ever dated an older woman? How much older was she? What attracted you to her? Do you have an age limit to how old you would date?
Ladies, am I completely insane for dating a 28 year old? Would you do it? How young would you go before it’s too creepy for your taste?
HAPPY FRIDAY!

she was 43 she had the body of a woman in her late 20s to early 30s
Okay I have read statements like this numerous of times and especially on here. How does one accomplish that? How do you stop the aging of your body while your mind and heart just functions right along?
I am 41 and I have a 41 year old body. All of my close friends are within 1-2 years older and younger than I am and we all look pretty much the same physically. Will someone please tell me what product can I buy to preserve my body that it does not age another year.
(Disclaimer: That is Raqi being a snide b1tch.)
This is how I see it. Being healthy and fit has no age in adults. I try to eat right for the most part and I get in what form of exercise that I can. But I am 41 years old and so is my body. I love it, my husband loves it.
If all 25 years olds looked exactly the same. Were all shaped and cut the same then I would see how one could say that they are close to having a the “body” of a 25 year old.
Even the fittest most healthiest individual’s body is the age that it is.

AmRed – that song is in my head too, because it was on my iPod when I fell asleep last night. Did you go when he was here last time? I saw him in Houston and had a ball. Still trynna decide if I want to go see him this year – I mean why do we keep having concerts in the middle of the week? I doubt I can handle Stevie on a Wednesday and Anthony Hamilton ‘nem on a Thursday – all during my busy time at work.

I know Anthony Hamilton is the next day, but I’ma pass because I’ve seen him and I don’t really care to see Musiq in concert. Not a fan enough.
But wouldn’t you know, new boo is not a Stevie Wonder fan!

Hey Beautiful, you are correct I will do right by my friends…I do not “roll” with just anybody so most of my friends go back 2.5 decades.
As for “could actually be married right now. holdin’ out for the ONE could be a bad idea. whatcha think?” I think you should keep holding out for the right one…the last thing you want to do is marry the wrong one that would be an abomination I meant to yell on that ABOMINATION!
@ Raqi…as stated her doctor told her she had the body of someone in her late 20s or early 30s. I do not think her doctor was judging her by “club” standards I would think he was applying medical standards and backing his medical opinion by the fact that she did not have complications. Fast-forward she now in her 60s and she is doing well no medical problems and she is not on any maintenance medication e.g. diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol etc. Maybe it is genes because my doctor told me keep doing whatever it is that I am doing because my medical report is always excellent.

That’s cause for dismissal in my book. You definitely should go – do like I do, get two tickets and whoever’s lucky gets to go.

Truth – If my husband really wanted kids, I wouldn’t deny him that. But he’d have to sell me on it and make it sure we lived a lifestyle where we could properly support them.
And if we split, he’d have to take em with him.

Stevie gives a great concert. I’ve seen him perform a couple of times. One time Al Green also performed.
One show he got on top of the piano. The look on people’s faces was priceless when he got close to the edge.

Two words….”Do you”. If it works, it works. If it doesn’t, it isn’t for nothing if you learn something from it.

Did you see Dwight Howard mock LeBron’s Power thing? He did it last night at the end of the halftime interview.
Both the Magic and Nuggets players have started talking about the LeBron/Kobe commercials including the puppet ones.
Van Gundy used LeBron’s catch phrase at half time of game one when he talked to his team. He told them that they were just out there “wtinessing” LeBron and the Cavs, but not playing against them.

Good for him, and K-Mart. The Lakers are not about to just lay down tho, so even though they aren’t on TV making “guarantees” it’s still anyone’s game.
Nice sound bites tho, I’m sure the NBA appreaciates all the extra attention.
