M’uck,

I noticed that there weren’t any ethnic minorities in your cartoon crowd today. Do you really think that your drawing represents his base? Seems like you and the Brinks/Broadview security people who cast their commercials with ONLY white males breaking in to houses, are “peas in the liberal pod.”

How on Earth did you ever win a Pulitzer? To be honest, and in my opinion, you’re not very funny and your humor is pretty shallow. You seem to always hit on the same subjects. After reading a few of your cartoons, I can see your punchlines coming from miles away. Very formulaic. Not too original.

But, Merry Christmas anyway!

ramble on, that cartoon didn’t show a u.s. soldier, it showed someone in a hood, labeled “america.” it wasn’t aimed at the troops who follow orders, it was aimed at our country and what we were allowing to happen in our name, at the behest of our leaders.

Hello Mike. My favorite entry from you ran on July 28, 2009 (Pres. Obama, Prof. Gates, and Sgt. Crowley). It made me laugh at a situation that unfortunately got out of hand very quickly. By the way, your drawing of the President is spot on. His ears are really that big.

Is there any subject or person you consider off limits?

I wonder why no one drew Rush Limbaugh with money falling out of his pockets with a cigar in his mouth, and a dumpster on his shoulder smiling and in the background scrambling to find food. Do you get more hate mail when you target specific people, like the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck (just to name a few).

I would like to see more that exposes the misguided government people who seem to be running our country deeper into poverty and economic ruin. Most often your cartoons express pure hatred for those that do not hold a liberal view of the world. They show nothing of the world view portrayed by a talented cartoonist – Michael Ramirez. You should study his view on the world and adopt a more balanced view of the world and learn from his great skill and keen wit. This would certainly improve your long standing Bush Bashing and Republican Hating scribbles.

Mr. Mike: I’ve always been fascinated that US citizens give so much credibility to a Hollywood actor when they speak on an issue, political or otherwise. How can we believe them when we know there’s a high probability they’re doing what they do best — acting. How about using your amazing talents to help us Get Real and think through these issues for ourselves, or instead take recommendations from those who truly understand the topic(s).
