Carol Lingerfelt, if you’re a republican in georgia, you can be dumb and corrupt and still get elected.

for you to say you’re not biased is a complete joke. 5-1 your drawings are pro left leaning ideas.

Mike, were things always so polarized? I’m young(er) so I have no real perspective.

Seems like the word ‘moderate’ is a dirty one these days. I’m moderate with my children, my spouse, my work, my friends, and my habits- so why doesn’t that work everywhere else?

Mike–I love your cartoons and the often subtlety you include that require some additional thinking. Was there any one topic from the past that you could have drawn a cartoon on a daily basis more than any other?

BTW, the Bill Clinton/Chelsea’s bridesmaid was my favorite from this year!

Most often your cartoons express pure hatred for those that do not hold a liberal view of the world. They show nothing of the world view portrayed by a talented cartoonist – Michael Ramirez. You should study his view on the world and adopt a more balanced view of the world and learn from his great skill and keen wit. This would certainly improve your long standing Bush Bashing and Republican Hating scribbles.

Mike *BRACE YOURSELF* this is a race question. Do you get more hate filled emails from whites, black or latinos? What’s the general make up.

1) How often do you receive an inspiration about a week past the “shelf” date for topic? I imagine that would be frustrating.

2) Any young(er) — I’m good like that — cartoonists presently flying under the radar that you think are talented and might receive a bigger stage later?

@carter is a fool.

If you’re accusing Lukovich of ‘pure hatred’ then you have no idea, nor have experienced, what “pure hatred” means.

If you toss such phrases around casually don’t expect anyone to take you seriously.

Hayseed Dixie, good comment. things weren’t always so polorized. it’s complicated why things have changed. one of the politicians who had the most to do with dehumanizing the opposition was newt gingrich. he’s a crappy human being.

Thank you. These are good issues. Re water, I often wonder if these issues are trumped up…in order to justify $4B sewer expansions and the like. Are you confident in the governance surrounding this particular project? I’m afraid I’m not.

And if your a liberal, the ajc and it’s liberal writers will lie and distort to make the liberal look better than the conservative. Go move to the left coast loser.
Then when California goes BK from it’s hideous liberal policies, you can still blame conservatives!

Mr. Mike: I’ve always been fascinated that US citizens give so much credibility to a Hollywood actor when they speak on an issue, political or otherwise. How can we believe them when we know there’s a high probability they’re doing what they do best — acting. How about using your amazing talents to help us Get Real and think through these issues for ourselves, or instead take recommendations from those who truly understand the topic(s).

Hey Mike, if you take Bob’s advise and move to the left coast, would you put in a good word for me for your job? I can’t draw and I’m not very funny, but I could do a stick figure with the caption “Obama Sucks” everyday and Bob and Hill and carter is a fool could write me letters and tell me how “great” I am……

Were you aware that the AJC was given quite a bit of trouble trying to enter Gingrich’s 1994 victory party at the Cobb Galleria after your controversial cartoon?
I was there helping to cover it for a media outlet. It was a bit over the top on the part of the Gingrich entourage.
