Live from Columbia: Georgia aims to bag the Big Chicken

Columbia, S.C. – Big game here. Maybe you’ve heard.
Listening to the pregame show on the radio riding in — and here let me note that it took Team AJC nearly 2 1/2 hours to negotiate the final five miles — was to hear a heaping helping of Gamecock bravado. Every interview (including one with the famous South Carolinian Darius “Hootie” Rucker) went thusly: Interviewee paid tribute to Georgia’s talent, then opined that there was no way the home side could lose.
I think the home side can lose. I picked South Carolina to win this game several months ago. (I also picked Georgia to finish 11-1 and still win the SEC East and the SEC title.) But Georgia has been the better team to date, and I say this largely because, as a Kentucky graduate, I’m leery of any team that trails the Wildcats by 10 points after two quarters.
Beyond that, I’ve got nothing that you don’t already know. Whoever wins will be in Position A to claim the East — yes, I realize Florida is again looming — and I’m fairly confident someone will win here. I invite you to join me as we ride along tonight, and I can only hope the game itself moves faster than the inbound traffic. And, as ever, I thank you in advance.

Their OLine can block our Dline and our Oline cannot block their Dline.
I cannot believe the blocking game plan for clowney, there isn’t one. I just saw our tackle try to chip him and leave him for the back.
It is the richie way, beat the lessors, no game plan for the greaters, they just run the same things. Spurrier has a game plan

It doesn’t look like the Carolina offensive line even needs to block on pass plays. The Georgia defensive line just seems to be running in place.

Our dawgs have been exposed both on O and D. Way over rated OL and entire D reminds me of the WM days. Lord what an embarrassment. 3 years in the 3-4 and they look like rookies. SC and Spurrier as much as dawg fans dislike him is a way better coach then anything we have. You’d think they’d put a TE to help out on Clowney but the dunses we have for coaches just let the tackle play one on one and the RB’s cannot help out either. There goes the dream guys. next year anothewr farce of a season. What a joke.
