With this weather, you’re not going anywhere tonight — and if you are, the only place you should venture is the insane asylum. The BCS title game is on, so here’s what you should do: Watch your TV and hang out with me. (Figuratively speaking.)
We don’t usually do live blogs off games not involving a local team, but we’re making an exception for this one. Because Auburn is semi-local and Cam Newton is absolutely local and … well, because I just feel like it.
We’ll get going around 8 p.m. — toe-meets-leather time is set for 8:30 or thereabouts — and we’ll keep going until somebody has claimed the semi-mythical national title. (TCU, my heart bleeds for thee.) And I do want to offer one bit of terrible news for AU fans up front:
I think the Tigers will win.
That aside, I invite and implore you to grab your official AU Snuggie — fans of other schools are welcome to join the festivities — and join me (figuratively speaking) on this cold winter night. I’d even invite you over, but I’m pretty sure nobody could make it down the neighborhood approach without damage to both fence and automobile. So let’s do it the 21st Century. Let’s commune the cyber way. I look forward to your company, and I thank you in advance.
Oh, and War Eagle! (I’m tired of being wrong in these BCS games. And don’t get me started about Mack Brown and his SHOVEL PASS!)

This one will be very intersting.
Aubey can’t use the we must knock the other teams QB out of the game because that’s the only way out defense can compete because they have been exposed and if they do cheap shot the QB it will just prove that coach Chezit has been telling lies and coaching his players to play dirty.
Aubey has a choice to make, cheap shot the Qb or lose. Oregon by 7. Go Ducks!!!

Ha Ha Get your head out of your butt- the only SEC fans that will pull for you are the idiots that think the SEC wins NC games. The SEC wins nothing. Florida, Bama and LSU won their NC’s- not the SEC. I have been an SEC (among others) fan for over 50 years but I will not pull for cheaters nor for classless programs like Auburn. SEVEN make that 7 times on MAJOR probation for your classy program. They failed to put you on probation several other times. A pox on you and on your cheesy program- and on your coach who claims God is for the Tigers.

Who said anything about undrafted high school players or late college round picks ? I’m saying that if A.J. Green or whoever goes # 1 in the draft then he will be the first college player selected and therefore the BEST college player. Obviously a player drafted in the 7th round or undrafted like Tebow or Cam isn’t the best college player.

Hey to all you people cheering for the Ducks and against Auburn. We don’t give a crap that you are not cheering for us and are actually happy that you are not. So say what you want about our team. Unless you are a Oregon University grad or student, your team is not playing tonight and ours is. Maby Cam leaving on his own had something to do with the very high number of times he got caught cheating on exams, do ya think? I’m sure there must be a number where the school has to say that’s enough.
Gotta give coach Chezit credit on the miracle way he turned the poor kid around with all the good grades and never getting in any trouble at all while at Aubey. They sure do things a little differently at ol Auburn don’t they?
