As you can see from the hasty redesign, it's the same snazzy banner headline but a less alliterative name.
Folks, the NCAA has asked us to rename our little contest. So the Final Four Fiasco will become Bradley’s Bracket Fiasco.
I’m assured nothing else will be affected: The brackets already entered online will remain in our database and will be tabulated, same as if this was still the FFF as opposed to B’sBF.
But you needn’t be. Just enter the contest here, if you haven’t already. (The deadline is Thursday at noon.) And we thank you for your continuing patronage.
The AJC sports columnist is a blogging fool. But you knew that already

i’m trademarking ‘first’. others will no longer be able to call it ‘first’. maybe they can use ‘zuerst’ or ‘primero’. i don’t care, but you will be hearing from my lawyer if you use ‘first’ anymore

We coulda been a contender. We was always contending. One time Stinky Wintes told a player from Cobb County . . . “you know what you are? You’re a cheap, lousy, dirty, stinkin’ mug! And I’m glad what I done to you, ya hear that? I’m glad what I done!” Stinky had to run the steps for that. Our bracket will contend. We coulda been a contender.

We was wondering if the AJC is going to pay the $1 million? We was noticing circulation is way down and that makes us think $1 million might be more than they can pay to a winner. Is that a misprint? If they narrowed $1,000,000 down because the paper was narrow would it come out to $1,000? Or if they narrowed it from the other side would it become ,000? We was wondering.

It’s okay, Mark. Call it whatever you care to call it. My picks will still allow me to quit following about midway through Saturday’s games … oh, wait, this year I have a number of selections contrary to yours. Whoa, I may have a chance.

Mark, stick to your guns, you folded like a cheap suit. I worked for a company that introduced a product called Super Boll. Received a cease and desist letter from the NFL, we told them to take a hike (pun intended).
Mark, man up.

I will not insist upon a name change. You may use the current terminology merely by paying my fee. I will be in touch with management to arrange for billing and payment. Thank you, Bradley Bracket

Call it March Madness, just to aggravate the NCAA. It’s the only tournament term that they don’t have trademarked. It originated with the Illinois High School Association, who currently holds that trademark.

Is it better to make the Big Dance and be a one and done…or is it better to make a deep run in the NIT?

Imagnie all the excitement being felt right now for March Madness……applied to College Football.
Wouldnt a “tournament” of some kind be much more exciting
than the artificially-contrived, cartel-controlled BCS.

I hope for change we can believe in – with help on the way next November.
Guess I pay for those copyright royalties via higher taxes, bigger budget deficit, rationed healthcare, higher healthcare insurance premiums, and a poorer economy.

I’m so excited that Tech is going to beat OKState. I don’t even have to worry about missing work to watch the game. Dear Leader BO said Tech will win. Since it has thus been proclaimed, I can rest easy knowing that I won’t have to worry about following the game tomorrow; the outcome has been assured.

Finding a link to the Fiasco on the AJC home page (or even the sports home page) is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Can you make it more prominent?
