Somebody way up thread said Withers is from Charlotte, thus would want to stay close to home by remaining in Chapel Hill. Athens is 3 hours from Charlotte, Chapel Hill 2 and half hours.

Methinks the hammer recently dropped on AllDawgs. Maybe not Tiger Woods kinda punishment, but something more severe than a whack on the knuckles I use to get back in school.

Fact: I was paddled twice by my first grade teacher on my very first day of school. Second paddling occurred less than 2 minutes from the first paddling. Call me a slow learner.

(If I were Marv Albert, I’d say I just wanted to be spanked).

Not so different Otto. The biggest difference is that good coaches are not timid. They take risks to get ahead, for instance, lateral moves that seem risky to those that don’t like risk or fully understand the payoff for taking the risk. And I guess a lot of corporate types have that mentality on the way to the top. Having lived in both worlds I see a lot more playing it safe in the corporate world than I saw in college or the NFL. Everybody is a type A in the league.
