Apparently you are new to this blog. We have been reading hahahahahahaha's from St. Simons and others since GT's 45-42 win last year. Do your home work boy.

Longhorn Pete,

Clearly you jumped in the middle of something you don't understand. Maybe I can put it in terms you can understand. "Boomer Sooner" vs "Hook 'em Horns". Now, what time is it in Texas? That's right, it's 10 to 9. (if you don't get that either, do a little research on the 'net and you will). Time for you to leave.

Coach Richt won the coaching battle against Coach Johnson. To say it another way, Coach Johnson was out-coached. When it came down to it, Coach Johnson chose to (in a panic) abandon his prized offense to throw the ball down field three straight times. I don't think anyone is questioning the fourth down call; it clearly would have worked if BeBe holds on to the ball.

Here's the thing, if one of the bombs had actually worked and Tech had scored on the play, Johnson still would have put Tech in position to lose the game. All Georgia would have needed was a field goal to win, with the best kicker in the nation and an offense that had steam-rolled Tech's D for most of the game. Johnson ALSO needed to run out the clock while scoring the go-ahead touch down. The play calling was STUPID and needs to be called for what it was. It wasn't just a single mistake, it was a complete brain-freeze by Coach Johnson.

DoctorC, sure I'll admit that UGA has beaten us 8 out of 9 times over the past nine years. Call it what you want. Do YOU remember the years leading up to that streak when we ran the tables on you? It all comes and goes. If we quit playing forever right now then sure, you win, you have the winning record. I will agree with Paul Johnson here that this battle has just started, we are 1-1 with you, and you will be savoring the past nine years because UGA has a long road ahead with GT. You know it, I know it, CPJ knows it, not sure if Richt knows it (he will), and the rest of the Dawgnation knows it. Maybe we will be shortsighted enough to say that we own UGA after a few years. And for God's sake, the SEC is not a team. It is a conference. The SEC having the two best teams DOES NOT make UGA better. If my brother is a millionaire and I'm a bum, I'm still a bum.

All the opinions in the world can't change these FACTS - UGA continues to dominate Tech in football year in and year out, and the SEC continues to be the premier conference in college football year and year out. Any non-biased person who looks at FACTS understands this is the truth. I recognize FACTS and agree that UF continues to dominate UGA in football. I may not like it, but until UGA consistently starts winning on an equal basis over a prolonged period against UF, then I am willing to admit UF is consistently a better football team than we are. Is there a Tech alumni or fan anywhere who is simply willing to acknowledge the fact that UGA has been consistently better in football than Tech? I don't think so.

It is amazing the difference you can tell between people that actually went to a school and the idiots that didn't. 74 UGA Grad actually makes insightful comments and presents fact about the game. The Grinch (Moron) can only cite the score and say BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Very witty. We get it, UGA (not you, loser nongrad), won with a good showing. We are off to the A-She-She (once again, priceless) Championship and maybe a BCS bowl. I congratulate UGA on a good win. And Grinch, there is a school in Athens. It's not another NFL team ya redneck.
