I have never seen a set of pro football defensive backs who are constantly either nowhere near the receiver, or when they are, they appear to have no idea that the ball is being thrown their way. I realize it's a young set of guys. But isn't that where coaching should kick in? I have no idea why Tampa Bay ever stopped throwing the ball at all. Even with an inexperienced QB, the Falcons seem to have no answer for the pass play. That is going to kill them against McNabb and Breese, who can (and will) pass often. Its true in my opinion that the Falcons are BETTER THAN BOTH PHILLY AND N.O., until THEY COLLECTIVELY BELIEVE THAT IN THEIR OWN MINDS, THEY WONT GET PAST THOSE TWO CLUBS. In my opinion for what it is worth, the Falcons have the best team in football. Unfortunately for them, they still think they are a doormat and continue to play like one. THEY HAVE ALL THE WEAPONS ON OFFENSE: Turner, Norwood, White, Jenkins, Gonzales, and Ryan. For GodS Sake, what more do you want? Why cant you score against a 1-9 football team? Why does it take being on the precipice of losing, with ONLY 20 SECONDS REMAINING IN A CONTEST AGAINST A 1-9 FOOTBALL TEAM DO YOU HAVE TO PULL OUT A MIRACLE WIN OUT OF DESPARATION against an absolute pathetic doormat (Tampa/1-9). The fans of Atlanta should boycott the upcoming home games and refuse to show up until Atlanta puts a competitive product on the football team.
