OK, folks. You know what I think will happen. (Georgia Tech 42, Georgia 27.) You’ve heard my phony-baloney rationale: Tech is the better and more consistent team. Now I’m asking: What do you think will happen?
Tech blowout? Georgia upset? Overtime at Bobby Dodd? (It happened 10 years ago, you’ll recall.) Questionable call proving decisive? (That has happened a time or two, has it not?) Roddy flying past Reshad down the sideline again? A phantom fumble returned for the winning touchdown? A fourth-down throwaway? Tim Wansley with a seal-the-game INT? Tim Jennings with a seal-the-game INT? Gary Lee with a kickoff return through the fog?
I’m fairly certain you’ve had enough of my blather. I’m also certain you have detailed thoughts on the matter. Please feel free to share. Sharing is good. Sharing is cleansing. Sharing is why I’m here.
I leave you with this one factoid: In the Associated Press preseason poll, one of these teams was ranked No. 13; the other was No. 15. Anyone recall which was higher?

I just hope the SEC officiating crew doesn’t decide to make some home cooking of their own and try to influence the game. But, wait, I forgot, the refs have had it out for the Bullmutts all year, so I have nothing to worry about. That is always one of the many excuses that is pulled out of the stinkin hat whenever the Puppies lose to Tech.
Warm up all your best excuses Hydrant Humpers. You’ll need everyone of them to explain the butt-kickin loss you will experience Saturday night. You might want to consider pulling out of the SEC after Saturday night, or maybe they will just kick you out, because you will definitely put a dent in the Almighty status of your precious SEC once Tech gets through with you bunch of inbred leg humpers.

Nesbitt Has a PHD in Chemical Eng! I don’t need any help! I am just amazed at all the lame excuses that are thrown out by Pup people when you try to have an intelligent conversation about football with them.
It is not too difficult to admit that there is parity in Division 1 FBS schools now that makes puts all 120 teams on an equal footing. The idea that things only count within conferences but cross conference comparisons don’t mean anything is about as stupid reasoning as I have come across in a long time. If that is true then we need to quit ranking teams nationally and just play within the conferences. OOPS! There we go again… inbreeding! Dang, you can’t get away from it!

Unfortunately it’s a game played by kids who sometimes preform above or below their skill level. Not sure CPJ will let them perform below, but MR has done so most of the season. For that reason, GT should win. Don’t care if it’s by one or fifty, just be 11-1 at the end of the game.

The SEC has two great teams; Florida and Alabama. The ACC has more ranked teams than the SEC. Tech was 3-0 against the SEC last year and will be 3-0 again this year. UGA has a great punter, who does a lot of punting. We have a punter that doesn’t have to punt very often. We are ranked #2 in rushing yards, just behind Nevada. Nobody can stop our rushing offense so we don’t need to throw. But when we do, our top ball catcher leads the nation in yards per catch.
We are going to beat Joe Cox like a red-headed step child. UGag can’t stop Dwyer, Nesbitt, Allen, Roddy, Pepples or any of our backs. And you can’t cover Thomas.

I’ll admit it, I am a Tech homer going back to the late 1950’s. But I don’t think that the ACC is any better or worse than any other conference like some SEC homers like to talk about. The ACC has done pretty well against the SEC this year, and it is only going to improve its record this weekend by at least two more wins.
