great job johnson. look before you leap. the grass may not always be greener. look at the past tech coaches who left and what happened to them. begin with curry through the most recent. dont forget about the one who went to nd and the world found out he lied on his resume. at tech you can set the bar and blaze your own trail. elsewhere you have to match someone else. at tech you have no equals right now.

For all those folks who are talking about Johnson getting a big head, and moving on you may want to rethink. Johnson is just not that kind of man plain and simple. When he takes a job he is loyal to that school. He only leaves when he has no more room to grow. At Georgia Southern he built a team that won 2 national titles, and made the playoffs every year. At Navy he built a team that plays in bowl games every year. His term at Navy installed a program that beat Notre Dame twice in three years. He will be at Tech for a long time. He would be miserable at most other places because of the football politics that he just does’t give a damn about. Paul just ain’t going anywhere plain and simple.
