Stretch the field, opens the running game, pound the ball and keep the D fresh and rested...look off a receiver and hit the back or TE, keep their D honest...what we have a QB who must make one read and throw the ball to a spot and hope that AJ can get there and battle for the recepition...something bad is going to happen to Green if Cox keeps placing him in vulnerable positions w/ bad throws where he has to make circus catches...instead of going foe the ball they'll start taking shots at him when he's up in the air...Gray should at least get a shot at QB, if not then move him to w/r or make him into a f/s...they really need to get him in somewhere as he's too much of an athlete to be fair catching punts...w/ his knowledge of the QB position and his speed, free safety would be a great choice

@6:06AM - "Every one talks about Saban and Myer’s intensity. Urban just seems like a whiner to me, and Saban usually seems kind of stoned."

I'd be careful saying things like that about Saban. You know Nick Saban never sleeps....he waits.

As far as his intensity goes please see a clip from his show:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPkECmTlr5c

Little language in there so perhaps NSFW

Ever think you will ever see this kind of intensity from Sleep Walkin' Mark? No, he'll just ask everyone to wear black. LOLZ!

let's assume Cox can actually make a throw, does that change our bad "D"?, does it mitigate stupid penalties?, Does it make us a NC contender? Does it make our "O" line block better?

I am no Cox apologist at all. He is not great. But come on, he isn't the only problem in Athens.

Saint Richt has to shoulder some blame. You hating on Cox for all of our problems is like hating on Paulie Shore for BIO-DOME.

I agree, he is bad, but what of the rest of the movie?

If Cox is so bad why does he have a better completion percentage than Stafford had in all but his Sr. year which had MoMass, AJ and Moreno?

His completion rate is better because he probably has triple the amount of attempts and completions than Cox. Percentages are always better when there's not enough attempts and completions.

T.O.S.S.
"For those Joe Cox haters, JOE MONTANA couldn’t make this team win without Defense, Special Teams, a Running Game, Discipline, and leadership."

But Joe Montana could hit a wide open receiver! Accuracy has nothing to do with any of that stuff.

AltamahaDawg

Alt, those comments you made about Coach Searals are partly true, he is the O-line coach and running game coordinator b
ut, he is not our running back coach. You should sit in the endzone and see the holes these linemen are opening up, and the pass protection, 2 games in a row without a sack. Richard Sammuel was a 5 star linebacker out of hgh school. He's not a running back.
You and Mark Bradley need to lay off with the Searals bashing.

"Also, Alabama won games because of the massive line and running game they had. Who can’t make throws off of a playaction when your running is dominant? That’s another thing that has hurt Cox, no running game. Even Stafford had a that."

And whose fault is it that our o-line sucks and we have no running game? MARK RICHT.

It all comes back to a single point of responsibility. There is one person who is ultimately responsbile for this team.

@1:34 “If Alabama can win with the likes of John Parker Wilson, who outplayed the vaunted Matt Stafford last year, why can’t we win with the likes of Matt Stafford and Joe Cox?”

TROOF: One word: Coaching. Bama has it. UGA does not.

Agreed.
