Gonna be a long night at sanford and son stadium for UGA. Is there a real game on? Air Force vs. Minnesota would be a better game. Couldnt even beat OSU and had to have Houston do the work for you!

Dawg Tired - Regarding your last post ... This was an easy let down game for OSU today after what was regarded in Stillwater,OK last week as the BIGGEST opener in the HISTORY of the program. Let's not pass the Jim Jones Juice around to everyone just yet.

I still can't get over so many negative posts regarding the coaching staff and my beloved Bulldogs. As a proud graduate of UGA If you would rather trade the last several years for the ones that I recall with Ray Goff and Jim Donnan than that is your mistake. As for me, I am happy that Coach Richt has put us back on the map and let's start pulling for this team and stop the whining BS! And for God's sake let's hope their is no BOOING from OUR fans in this game tonight. Talk about scaring off recruits....

Shame to those who can do nothing but bitch and moan.

GO DAWGS!

Actually, Houston's defense generated TWO critical turnovers late in the 4th quarter. And Houston's coaching staff hasn't been in place 9 years like Richt. This is only their second year. They have a lot of TRUE FRESHMEN playing as backups on defense.

Looks like Houston is going to beat Oklahoma State. They put up 511 yards on Oklahoma State, the very same defense that Georgia couldn't move the ball on after the first drive. They had 367 passing yards and 3 TDs. They have a QB that can get the ball down the field, get rid of the ball quickly, make the right reads and decisions, and even scramble. Oh yeah, they even had 145 rushing yards. And their DEFENSE actually made a big play to preserve the victory. Obviously Houston's coaching staff is better than UGA's. Maybe UGA needs to run Richt off to FSU (who right now is struggling against the same Jacksonville State team that Georgia Tech jumped out to a quick lead on) and hire them.

Well Ok ST seems to have righted the ship, but it is fairly obvious that Houston has a much better offense than we do. How many top 5 recruiting classes have the Cougars had? So just what is the problem with us?

For those defending the coaching and Joe Cox, take a look at that Houston - Okla St score and the yardage Houston is piling up...

Did you hear the comment just made by the ESPN announcers? Houston has put up 20 first downs against OK State in just the first half, while GA only made 16 in the WHOLE GAME! Looks like it's going to be a long season for the Dawgs.

rx-dawg: patience? really. I have been showing patience since Dooley left. My patience has run out. There is no more patience. I used to believe in 2001 that we had the right coach for the task at hand, but quickly I am changing that opinion greatly due in part that he has constantly showed he is rewarding loyalty. CMR has had every opportunity to put the necessary personnel aroung him to get all this talent to perform to the best of their abilities. Spurrier, Meyer, Saban and heck, even Les Miles saw the problem with his defense last year and what did he and the program (or at least the boosters) go and do? They hired a proven coordinator. And don't think for one minute that if C. Strong had a repeat performance of 2007 that he would not have been replaced immediately. And he showed that 2007 for UF was an aberration. But was does it take for CMR to see that light? I tell you that if we repeat last wk's performance, he is going and will lose a majority of the 4 and 5 star talent that is in town this weekend to watch(please note the RB play tonight, Marcus Lattimore. You can come in to Athens next September and play immediately with Malcolm giving you a rest for about 5-6 plays a game). Please, Marcus, list UGA as a possible candidate for your services, we need a great runner like yourself. Coaches Gardner and McClendon, I need not tell you two to go after this kid relentlessly. He his awesome (especially since Greg Reid and Mack Brown shunned us for Florida schools. Don't really understand the best in-state talent going out of state to play CFB (oh, that's right, we have position coaches that really don't know who is or is not in the game.) to those of you behind the scenes of the Bulldawg nation: WAKE THE F_ _ _ _ UP AND START DELIVERING! Friends of the program: Start buying the players or at least buy the parents. Playing by the rules is not working. This is a business and approach it like the defecit, throw all kinds of money at it.
