Coach Richt WILL win a championship. It took Bobby Bowden almost 15 years to win one at FSU. Mark Richt will lead a team to a national title. The question is, do you want him to do it here at Georgia or would you rather he be somewhere else?

The single biggest thing were are missing is a quarterback. Cox is simply not Division 1 material, let’s face it. I’d take my lumps with Logan. At least he can scramble and make something happen…

The defense could be more disciplined, but they also keep getting put in difficult, short field situations. Otherwise, they are holding up alright.

It is entirely possible that UGA wins some games this year. How many? It depends on luck. Should they have cosmic luck, a national championship, if they have outstanding luck, an SEC title, if they have excellent luck, the SEC East title, if they have good luck, GA Tech, If they have fair luck, Tennessee, if they have poor luck, Kentucky, if they have very poor luck, Vanderbilt, if they have horrible luck, Tennesse Tech. If they experience no luck whatsoever, it is entirely possible that they could lose every game. Then and only then would I suggest you get out your poster paper, wood, paint, and staple gun to make those “Fire Coach Richt” signs. Should the last two scenarios happen, forget the signs. It won’t be necessary. It would be like adding strychnine to an atom bomb.

I don’t agree with everything you said, David Granger. But you sure are right about Oklahoma State catching us napping with those two quick snaps.
How can we play a team that’s especially know for that, and then get caught twice by it in critical situations when the game is on the line?

I wonder what Richt will have the dogs do in Jacksonville this year?! Maybe an inspiring musical number with the offensive line adorned with chiffon and red boas.

After reading post after post on this site from UGA fans about how much they love Richt and how proud they are to have him as their coach, this article and these comments may be a wake-up call…but I doubt it.
