Benjamin said he’s the greatest center fielder since Willie – or ever???????? Uh…. you need to stop posting comments, Benjamin. We like the Braves, but spare us the homerism. Andruw may make it into the Hall of Fame but not the first time he’s on the ballot. The “best center fielder” since Willie or “ever” would be inducted the first time… Stick to another topic.

To Tyger – it’s not in any owner or GM’s interest – economically speaking – to chose players based on the color of their skin. You need to channel your anger inwards at your own and ask the important questions like: why aren’t blacks as interested or as good as whites and hispanics in baseball? Take responsibility, Tyger, stop blaming everyone else because it doesn’t help you progress. Actually it retards your growth.

I like how Tyger, like so many like him out there, blame others for angers them. There’s no way an owner or GM will pass on someone because of the color of his skin. It’s not in their economic interest to do so. Ridiculous! Direct your anger at your own people and address why da brothas aint sa interested in baseball as they once were. Time to stop the name calling and blame game… it’s called RESPONSIBILITY – something many out there refuse to to take ownership of!

Andruw is a Hall of Famer, Mark, if the voters are intelligent. And that’s coming from a guy that has disliked him for most of his career, even in the good days.

He’s the greatest defensive centerfielder since Willie, and arguably the greatest ever. He has hit a ton of homers, and will likely get close to, if not go over, 500. Those two things combined make for a Hall of Fame ball player, in my view.
