If you read the blogs from all of the AJC writers, listen to the sports talk shows, watch the E.S.P.N. basketball experts, then you will know that you two guys might be the only two guys that give Woody any credit. And Mark it must feel good to have someone finally come to your defense on this issue. And as far as sending a bill to the A.J.C. they have lost so many readers , and that is a fact,I doubt they could pay you much!!!!

I’m really getting sick of the Chris Paul stuff. If we draft Chris Paul, then we don’t get Al Horford. Getting a legit big man cheaply is more important than getting a PG. There were like 15 pgs drafted early this year. Some want us to bring in Tyson Chandler. Tyson make Joe Johnson money and I’d rather have Horford who hasn’t even whispered his prime and might have played in the All Star game last year had it not been for injury.

AMAZING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO STILL VALUE AN UNDERSIZED CENTER OVER AN ALL-STAR ALL-NBA POINT GUARD. SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE AS STUPID AS KNIGHT WAS WHEN IT CAME TO POINT GUARDS. FINALLY GOT ONE BUT HE’S OVER THE HILL ALREADY. YOUR BOTH IDIOTS.

I don’t think the Hawks will trade for Amare Stoudemire. And I don’t think Josh Childress really wants to be a Hawk anymore.

mark, why do you believe childress will not sign with the hawks?i believe he will. with the acquisition of crawford, flip becomes expendable. signing childress would remedy his loss. then acquire a center by trade or free agency.of course marvin must and will be signed soon. what center do you think the hawks will sign?

GT Alum … i agree … Sheldon was a poor pick, and probably the only time BK really messed up. Who knew Speedy would become a vegetable, though?

I get tired of hearing Chris Paul … i lose all respect for anyone who brings that up. They obviously weren’t following the Hawks then or the craze over Marvin Williams. The media, other GM’s, and the fans were saying to go with Marvin. Do i love Marvin, no … but is that who i wanted the Hawks to pick at the time, yes … besides throwing that out when those idiots mention that draft, i also say this … had we taken Chris Paul, we would not have Al Horford, Mike Bibby or Crawford now.

Horford is going to be a beast!

thanks to the true hawks fans who are able to see and feel what’s going on around here .. it obvious there are some pessimists who don’t see there are multiple ways to win in this league .. everything is not only how you see it .. the hawks are building towards being a title contender, and next year will determine if we’ve truly gotten back to “basketball city status” — RISE UP HAWKS — Sign marvin 4 years / 32 mil … and see what happens this season … you never know, it could be magic-esque (a la, this past season)
