i think that because of his history of injuries, abe is our most under rated and less appreciated player and it will be a mistake not to resign him !!!

Mark, I think KT meant our current Jamaal Anderson as overrated, not our SBXXX Jamal, which apart from the spelling, I agree. Still waiting for him to develop or find his position.

Good to see Finn get some love. I don't know if he truly belongs on that list, but I'll take any man who goes from being a starting wideout to suffering two devastating knee injuries, only to return as a productive receiver AND special teams ace. The guy's got a huge heart, too.

John Abraham would've owned the 00's had he not gotten hurt so much. It's a testament to his ability that he still ranks that high on the sack chart since 2000, seeing that he's missed so much time to injury.

I would agree wholeheartedly about John Abraham and Brian Finneran being underrated. I have always thought Finneran was a strong receiver. Injuries have been bad luck for him.

considering Abe got snubbed from the pro bowl last year even though he was third in the NFL sacks...yeah, he is underrated...and definitely one of my favorite new Falcons. Hope he sticks around and makes Atlanta home...and helps bring a trophy home!

Part of Brooking's problem was being played out of position at ILB. But his biggest problem always being 5 yards behind the TE. I don't think he was that highly rated to begin with like D Hall. Brooking does not compare to others on the list.

Please GOD don't let this turn into a Vick discussion; we might as well bring up politics or religion.

No question D Hall makes the over list. I've always defended Brooking from the nastiness he receives here; he was a solid player with good leadership qualities. But based on his draft status and number of pro bowls, he probably was a tad overrated.

Too bad we're not doing all time; Bobby Butler would have to be included somewhere. Jerry Rice ought to put him in his will; he was on half of Jerry's highlight film.
