There could be some shifting of staff, DavidN, but that's not a certainty. I know Hewitt likes his staff very much.

And we'll just have to see about Georgia, won't we?

DavidN- I really hope DRad can get some legit asst coaches on the bench. I definitely think they could relieve CPH of actual "coaching" duties and let him stick to what he does best--recruiting.

Mark, do you think there will be changes in Hewitt's staff? I have seen some communications from DRad that indicated that he will be doing a review with Hewitt and implied that something will need to change going into next year. Before Chan's last year, DRad forced some changes in his staff...

Mark-

Given your comments to date, I think you are going to be surprised at the caliber of coach Georgia is going to hire. Not necessarily as big a name as Capel, but certainly someone who knows how to build a great program. As Chip has chronicled in his reporting, Daman Evans is on a mission to have Georgia basketball start living up to its potential.

The dismissive attitude I have seen in the media towards the possibility of success at Georgia reminds me of a similarly dismissive attitude concerning Georgia football when Donnan was fired. I rememeber many in the media thought Georgia could never hope to win the SEC against Florida and Tennessee. I specifically recall Lee Corso saying Georgia fans should be happy with winning 8 games a year. Then, as now, the potential of Georgia athletics was being overlooked by pundits who simply looked at current situation and extrapolated it out ad infinitum.
