Thanks, Jim. And DoBearsBare makes a salient point: Players come and go, but professionalism, once established, endures. That's why I believe Thomas Dimitroff is a keeper.

The thing that I keep coming back to with Dimitrov is that since he got here, our professional football team has conducted itself with ... professionalism, which was sorely lacking in the Petrino regimes. This team, though it had flaws, played with a sense of purpose. I'd be surprised if that goes away.

Forgot to add.. Joe Don Looney was the greatest football player that never was. "Joe Don Looney could have been to football what Mickey Mantle was to baseball"..Dan Devine. Former #1 draft pick of the NY Giants. He lasted only 28 days with the Giants and was traded to Baltimore. Don Shula thought he was the best football player he had ever seen.

Good article Mr. Bradley! Yes, TD could be the best GM a lot of teams could have, and we're very fortunate to have him here in the ATL. I'm a "lifer" with The Falcons, and for the first time that I can remember, I think we have it ALL together this time (i.e. GM, and coaches), and with TD's expertise in the draft and FA, I wouldn't hesitate one minute to say that I can see a Championship on the horizon. Thanks again for the great article about our more than capable GM!!!
In TD we trust!

This has nothing to do with anything -- much -- but has anyone else observed that a bill to prevent octuplet embryos is still being debated...while a Sunday alcohol sales bill is kaput.

And the people said Amen.

All I know is that these free agent signings and miscellaneous trades are wreaking havoc in some of my Madden NFL gaming strategies against online competition.
